I got a new doggy! I made him my profile pic, so you can see him. ISN'T HE JUST THE COOLEST!? He's a 1 1/2 yr old Saint Bernard. His birthday is Dec. 17th and I plan to make him a cupcake! XD Vanilla of course.
I blame my mom entirely for him. We work at a vets office together and a lady called in looking for a new home for "Buddy" (i hate that name... so it's Remington now. he comes a lot better to that too! ^^). My mom mentioned him and I said I wasn't that interested cuz he was 1 1/2 yrs and still intact (hasn't been cut off). But she still goes up front and double checks with the lady on the age of the dog, saying she knows someone who may be interested. The lady comes up to the office a couple days later, while my mom wasn't working, and Linda, one of the ladies, says, "you don't have to leave a message for Cindy, her daughter's here, and she's the one interested in the dog anyway." Gee thanks Linda... I go up and the lady practically begs me to take the dog, cuz he's too much for her and her elderly husband, and their grandson was abusive to him.
Ok...
So I got this dog now. I'm so glad I did! He's so amazing. I can't go anywhere without the marks of slobber on my clothes, he loves me. ^^
The only problem is Bear, our Akita... (I find it funny, we have two registrable purebreds, that we were given, and we paid the humane society for the mutt we have. lol) he's... territorial... we expected him to not take it well. He's doing ok with it. we can't expect him to accept Remington right away. Especially since he's male (and still not cut. I wanna make sure he works out before I spend 250$...).

So wish me luck! I just thought I'd let you know about my new "puppy!"
