I see so many fans begging for The L Word NOT to end. I agree with all of them. This show has been everything it was intended to be and so much more. As it is said, All good things must come to an end. I believe that whole-heartedly, however this series is not ready to end. There is so much more story to tell, there are so many unanswered questions. To end this series after season 6 is simply not fair. It is not fair to the viewers, who get 8 episodes in the final season. It will either be that everything is crammed into episodes, or there is so much left. IT is not fair to the show, it has been so inspirational for so long; this one of the most powerful television dramas ever. And I don't think that is fair to the cast, they have been so dedicated and to leave them with so many people wanting more. We crave their talent.
With all of that being said, I would love to see Marina come back...she and Jenny had so much chemistry. So much that it is comparable to Tibette. What other show has that much chemistry?? For Season 6, we need a Jenny/Marina reunion, and most importantly the Tibette wedding. I have been wondering when it is coming. I would love to see more Tibette sex scenes. It's hot and more than the sexiness of it, when you watch a Tibette scene you can see how they love each other. Please, Please, Please, more Tibette.

I have watched Ms Ilene Chaiken’s pod cast secret ingredient 512 … I hope they don’t push through with the idea of pairing up Shane and jenny because for me I don’t think it is a good idea because they are friends and hope to stay that way.. yes Shane did a bad thing in the last episode of season 5 but if jenny is really a friend she should forgive her and move on as being the best of friends as what they have established since the start. Friends are friends no matter what.. Like what Shane has said in season 5 ep 10 pertaining on her and jenny hooking up “I figure out that just because you can it doesn’t mean you should”..
Shane should clean up her act. She should win molly back, and explain to her that she was just confused because of that judgmental Philly’s and because she really loves her she’s is scared of hurting her that is why she did that and now she have realized her mistakes. She should prove to that Philly’s that she can and wants to change for the better because it is what she’s been trying to do from season 3,4,5. and since it’s the last season (as you’ve said.. which I hope is not ) Shane should be given the chance to prove that she can do something also for herself (like what Ms. Kate Moennig said in an interview she wants a career change for Shane maybe that is why her character (Shane) is talking about photography with molly.) Of all the main characters.. Bette(the big art world lady) Tina(the movie producer)Alice(the talk show host)Dana(the tennis player champ) Helena (the rich girl who learned her lesson of not being a brat) kit(the café owner) jenny(the writer/director which tina said her movie turned out good) shane is the only one who is not that “established” maybe she should excel in her photography and then it will be a big ‘slap’ on phillys who since the start always belittles her.. (that shane doesn’t even heard what proust is.. that shane is not her friend she is just fun to party with etc)…in season 1 it was mentioned that she is a 25 yr old hair dresser right? So how old is she by now maybe its time for her to be successful in what she does. I mean there is nothing wrong with being a hairdresser there are lots of successful hairdressers all over but Shane was not established as one. Clean her up we (I maybe talking for some of the viewers) want to see her as established as the others and has good lasting relationship with whoever (but I prefer molly) because we all want a good long lasting relationship (am I not right?) and has to work hard for that relationship to work just like any other couple whether gay or straight. Not because it is easy to get out of one relationship means she should never try to make it last.
As for alice she should try to work things out with tasha.. It is sad to see that all that hardships they’ve been though will go to waste

This as you’ve said is the last season for the L word maybe it is nice to see that every relationship or every person in a relationship is trying to work things out. That it is worth taking the risk of getting involve with one person because it has meaning and it is great and wonderful to be in love that even gays works hard in trying to keep their relationship works..there maybe bumps along the road but in the end all things will go on smoothly.. like with Bette and Tina’s.
And how about that backstabbing ungrateful Adele.. will you just let her get away with what she did to jenny?
For me L word is about friendship, caring and being there for one another despite the odds.. it is nice to have such kind of friends.

Ilene please please please dont let it end! This show is the most inspirational show I have ever seen. I dont even watch TV that much except for The L word and the only reason I even subscribe to Showtime is for the L word. I dont buy movies or box sets or anything like that but I have every season of your show. I also dont think Ive ever seen so many people make such an issue about a show ending. There are petitions and blogs posted and people calling Showtime threatning to cancel their subscriptions. I cant imagination why they would want to end it. It seems to me this should be a big money-maker for them right now. All I have to say is if it does end it will have been the most unforgetable show I have ever seen. You definitly have fullfilled your accomplishments if thats what you were going for. I was a fan of queerasfolk but I still didnt feel the passion as I do in your story. And the cast is just amazing. I dont think Ive ever seen a cast that connected as well as they do. They just seem like they have been friends their whole lives. You can call it good acting but thats damn good. And Bette and Tina, Jennifer and Laurel however you want to put it, they are meant for each other...on and off the set. They just have something...a connection, a spark...whatever you want to call it. Its incredible. If this has to be it I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart and you will never know how much your story touched so many lives.

BRING BACK CARMEN PLS PLS PLS

Bring back Carmen, please. I love the first two seasons especially and the third two, did go downhill after that I'll admit, still watched religiously. Bette and Tina, Shane and Carmen, somehow and many, many group scenes and maybe some more party brownies.

First of all i have to agree with whoever made the point of us having 30 years of a soap opera and only six years of the L word. I would have followed this show for the rest of my life, but i can see that you are incredibly grateful for the time you were allowed. I am grateful as well, it was so great to finally see parts of my life depicted on television, characters i could identify with as a woman instead of having to relate to the character of a man on every other show i've ever watched. It was amazing and i thank you for bringing it to us.

Now for some wishful thinking. I am a devoted tibettan and would love to see them stay happy and drama free for this last season. They've both done everything else there is to do, made every feasable mistake and come back to each other more stronger and evolved as ever. The elavator therapy was probably my favorite ep of the season, not just for the sex, but for how beatiful their revelations were beforehand. They truly belong together. I wouldn't mind seeing a nice wedding ceremony wrap it all up on the final ep.

This is a stretch,i know, i would love to see Marina come back and snap Jenny back into her humanity. IMO, jenny's character just went downhill after Marina left, i don't think she ever fully recovered from that heartbreak and i'd love to see them end up together. Their chemistry/ forbidden romance from the first season was my abosolute favorite. Mia played that whole thing so well, i miss her character the way it was.

I would give most anything to see carmen again, i think shane needs that closure if nothing else. I would love for Carmen to understand why she did what she did, Carmen to find out what shane's father said to her and to just "get her" like nobody else has. She's gotten the closest in my opinion to really seeing shane for who she is and loving her anyway. I would love to see that reunion, to see shane finally settle down, with Carmen.

And i'm definately rooting for Talice, i love them both.

If showtime wants to end the series, does that really have to be the end of such a spectacular concept?? I was over joyed when a show of this caliber was brought to television. Season five especially spoke volumes to my life personally (Tasha & Alice's relationship). I am happy about the success of the show and broken hearted that it will be over....

So, IF Showtime wants to make it special, let's make it available to the whole world. And therefore understand how many viewers from abroad they can get. So far, mostly in a way which has not been rewarding to them (illegal download, pirate VCDs all over Asia, and so on). I'm still going for a pay-per-view that could be available to the whole world. Is it that hard for them to make ?

What do I absolutely want from the LWord ... more screen time ? i've been ranting about how little 12 episodes are and the answer is, that 12 isn't little enough, we'll have 8. Hello, anyone home ? Is my english so poor ? I might know the reason. But hey, I live in a country where strike is a way of life, so I also know what it means AFTER. You have to keep up. There are many talented writers, who are waiting for their turn. Let's give them a chance. At leats it could have been a 24 episodes last adventure.... Last adventure ? I doon't want to hear that word "last". "Last" should be banned ffrom the "L" dictionary.

Ok, I've never come out as one, really, but I am a Tibetter ; I understand I am not very original here. I'm an incorrigible romantic. And to me, they embody my romantic view of things (and they lived happily ever after and raised many Chinese children ...). Well that's fiction for god's sake. So I'm happy but the subject could be studied forever : is it because one long-lasting relationship has once been depicted that everybody stopped filming and scrutinising love stories ? So .... Tina has matured, I want to know if Bette has too. Indeed she has understood Tina was the love of her life - it happens for some, good for them. Will she be more aware of what's going o around her ? Will we see the ultimate romantic Bette demonstrate her real commitment to Tina ? Once you've come back from so many difficulties, I'd say you feel like you need to act differently.

Nonetheless, it's a shame Jodi should be written off, especially since there are only 8 episodes. I had never seen anywehere else before a deaf actor/actrress being casted in a TV show, especially for such a long time. She brings a lot. She has also proven she was part of the friends. She needs time and adjustement. She needs to heal and get over her pain. I want to see her happy, with someone else, but which will not make unhappy a third protagonist ! - that's the hardest part with you ;-) Actually I'd go for a happy ending for everyone, for your own sake as I like you (lol) : would you want years having people chasing you because you killed off someone else/ some relationship in the show.

My personnal question : for the past 5 seasons, we've seen a very 'volage' (fickle ?) Shane. Some say : that's her nature. Hmmmm ... I know that tables have a nature and they can't evolve once it is fixed, but human have the ultimate possibility to think. People evolve, at least, if they do not completely change. Well, ok, nowadays very few people actually think which is why ver few people change. They just behave like tables. "I've been a table for a century why should it change ?" Oh, well. Because what's doesn't evolve is condemned to disappear. So, is there hope for Shane ? let's play this theory : people who have come close to death do figure out a few things. You'll frighten fans, but this might enlighten Shane.

Bring back that Molly character, she's hilarious. It could be interesting to see where it goes, with Shane. Because if Molly is supposed to a straight character, I know for experiencing it that straight women - if they are really straight - when they fall for you happen not to fall for any other woman. Actually they are not interested in women at all. So there would be little point of having Molly in a coming out process with anyone else. Could you tell the story of a straight woman who falls for a gay one, which is quite disturbing for everybody as she doen't fall with the way of life (she doesn't feel the need to come out, to feel proud, she doesn't feel politcially engaged, she's not paying attention to women in the street, but she doesn't hesitate to engage in a story with you, and be with your friends).

I'd love to see Alice fail in her attempt of resisting temptation. So that she learns the lesson (but in the end, they will have to work it out to get that happy ending i was referring to sooner !). It's funny and it happens everyday. Judgemental people who actually do actually what they once condemned.

What ese, oyeah, I want strong Helena back again, I missed her in S5, and couldn't be happier to her lietraly shine in S6. She too has matured a lot. Now, she can help out some of her friend's problems. Like buying the movie studio and firing Adele ! But I want to understand afterwards what is happening inside Adele. She's interesting (well, evil characters are fascinating). I would like to see Helena in a relationship, where she doesn't lose herself and her own pride. Somebody of her level.

Let Jenny come back, get over Shane, sometimes people mix up excellent frienship with something else. Personally I don't buy it. But they're the best friends ever, IMHO. However, it takes time to forgive. Let's talk about it.

I'd love to have an asian cast member. Are asians that invisible in the US too ? Incredible there are nearly two billions chinese and so few on TV shows. What about Lucy Liu, or even better, Christy Chung (from Samsara)..... Any of them could be either an artist (=>jodi) or a philantropist billionaire (=>Helena).

Yes, that's all I REALLY want to see. Lot's of friends gathering, sex (season 5 is a "bon cru" !), love, friendship ... and drama. :-P Be witty, dary and politically incorrect. With Alice working in TV, you could demonstrate a little bit more how ignorant and full of themselves most TV presenters are. And that what matters most to so many of them is the "spectacular" not truth and education.

I wish you, the team (cast, crew, production), and us, fans from all over the world, best of luck and success. This should never stop. Why on earth are we getting 30 years of "The bold and the beautiful" and only 6 years of the "LWord". This world is really walking on its head.

It's no doubt Jenny's madly in love with Niki. I would really like to see how Niki would react when she finds out Jenny was just declaring her love for her minutes before all the chaos happened!
I think Niki would be devastated, and hopefully she can do everything she could to win Jenny back. :D
