this is my FIRST tattoo! and it took me a year of thinking on it to decide to finally get it. i don't have any plans for any other tats...i think getting more would take away the significance of this one. but who knows? i'm really pleased with this one...if i thought of something else that i liked enough, i'd consider getting another one. we'll see!

That's so awesome you really thought about it. And yeah, it seems as if it was totally worth the wait. Our drum team is going to Tahiti next year and you can be any age to get a tattoo there. A bunch of us are going to do it. It would be my first. I'm not too sure what I want to get yet but I want it to be meaningful. Like, I think most tats people get there I polynesian tribal type stuff. I'm not tahitian though, I'm half Philipino haha. And do I really wanna get something that only represents what I do as opposed to who I am? Who knows, ey?

it's the meteor from the logo to the playstation game, Final Fantasy VII. came out in 1993. i played it during a rough time in my childhood. it was sort of my escape from reality. the meteor sort of symbolizes this imminent doom and constant entropy...but also the hope that everything will be alright in the end and that i'll get through it all...
pretty deep, eh? lol. i decided that the meteor was a good idea b/c, unless you already know, you can't really peg it as something nerd/video game related. and i made sure to get it where i can hide it with clothes if need be...ya know, for business and such. but i can show it off easily, too. =)

That is so incredibly awesome. Seriously, like that's the coolest story I've heard for a tattoo. It kinda makes me wish that I would have played FFVII. The only RPG I played on PSone was Legend of Dragoon. My coworker was all, "Gasp! You've never played FFVII!?" But I was mostly the adverture type gamer as a kid until I played Halo 3 for the first time last year. That changed EVERYTHING. Last night I was playing 3-ball on the double exp weekend. That game is pretty nuts.
