You'll have to go back at least 100 pages now if you wanted to see them. I believe you've seen them all anyway, haven't you? I sent you some via PM. The others that you saw are on the "Live from San Francisco" blog in Hook Up. PickandGrin, one of the regulars on this thread, has some really beautiful pictures of JB that she gets from other places and then uses a great new type of photoshop program that makes the pictures look even more fantastic. She's got a real knack for this sort of thing. Here are two that she did that I uploaded for you. Fantastic, aren't they?

I can not believe that logo actually deleted that scene that makes me want to not even watch it if they are going to take all of the really really good parts out!!!!! There will only be bout a 15 show lol dam and i tvo'd it to!!!! Shit !!!!!, shit!!!!!, shit!!!!, shit!!!!, shit!!!! i like your sayings at the bottom i am going to have to use them more often lol lol Girl you crack me up!!!
it does indeed cater more to a gay male audience. BTW, have you ever seen the lesbian series Ex's & Oh's on LOGO ? I finally watched an episode the other day and I can tell you that it doesn't even remotely compare to TLW !! Remotely ! The women, the chemistry between them, the friendships, the story lines, just about everything can't be compared at all to TLW. Perhaps I've been spoiled with TLW and so in my mind I have a higher expectation of Ex's & Oh's, I don't know. I mean, I will watch it again, it's not that terrible but it just doesn't make for a great lesbian series as far as I'm concerned. It's mediocre at best.

I know she does a lot of television and movies but I have a feeling they are cameo or brief appearances or just not big roles. That woman has hot written all over her. I'm surprised she doesn't get more prominent roles.

That, as a doctor, her character is so versatile. First she's an ob/gyn. She was going to do Tina's insemination in S1, probably eventually did the one that took. Then she's in the OR when Tina delivers Angelica. Then in S3, she's the doctor Dana goes to for her breast lump. What is that, a medical trifecta?
I know general practicioners do it all, but my GP does check-ups and paps and the occasional sinus infection, but she is not a "one stop" doc like Dr. Wilson. I know I'd have to get a referring if I were preggers.

I just thought it might have been some diversity kick IC was on that ignored reality. I call it the "black boss" syndrome. It's a TV/film phenomena I've noticed where a black or minority character will have a really important job (doctor, judge, police chief) but will be seen for only 5 minutes in that particular show, usually to tell the hero he/she is in trouble, e.g., "Law & Order," "Beverly Hills Cop," and numerous others.
It's almost like the producers are saying, "See, we know minorities can be compotent (fill in the blank with important position). We have them on the show all the time." As if frequency equals quality.
Judith Maxie is good. She'd make a great lesbian on the show. But the phenomena doesn't work that way.

She's really attractive too. I love the way she "winks" at Bette in the scene where she leaves them to get Tina "aroused"......funny. It would have been nice to have a role for her that had more air time, although she makes a great GYN.
select your gynecologist as your primary care physician. I thought that there was an actual line somewhere in Season 3 about Dana getting a referral from Bette or Tina -- I really have not committed Season 3 to memory in the same fashion, however, and I could be wrong.
Dana and Lara are in the tub when Lara asks Dana about the doctor's appointment. Dana says she forgot but she'd prefer to see a female doctor. That's when Dana realizes that Bette and Tina have a female gyno and she promises Lara that she'll call them for a referral.
I let them play while I'm in the house doing other things. When a scene comes on that I really like, I stop and watch. I find that especially with the eps that I don't like, I pick up something new almost every time I watch them. I'm in agreement with most people that season 3 was the turkey but if you stop focusing on the depressing TiBette and Dana parts of the story line and look around, it’s actually a pretty good season for the other characters in the show. There are a number of things that I really like.
I'm particularly fond of the way the teasers tie into each episode and then at the end of the season, they all tie together. They even tie back to the first season.
I like Shane's poolside hookup with Cherie.
I think the Helena/Dylan couple is hot. Their scene at the Beach house is one of my favs.
I'm crazy for the Senator Grisham scene. Hot Hot Hot!
Alice is ridiculously funny about the breakup with Dana.
Dana wins a tournament.
Carmen starts a striptease for Shane that sends smoke out of my ears.
I like when Bette takes the advice of Helena’s ex and doesn’t take the bait from Helena thus earning the respect of all of her friends. Then that evening, the whole gang shows up at Bette’s door for family night.
Who hate S3 only think about the larger effect of the season and what happened with TiBette and Dana.
I know there were nice moments but, in the end, those aren't the ones that stick in our minds.
The moments I remember are Tina and Daddyof2, Tina against her and Bette's bedroom door with Henry, Shane & Carmen living together (I didn't like Carmen), Bette reaching out to Tina and being rejected -- more than once.
BTW, the stuff with Winnie and Bette was in S2. So was the scene where everyone goes to Bette's place rather than Helena and Tina's housewarming partying -- unless there was another scene where everyone shows up at Bette's.

The only thing I can imagine with that hat, is Bette being forced to call her "O Captain! My Captain!" everytime she wanted a favour from her big sis..
Pam's character didn't start out as Bette's sister. She started out as a friend of Bette's who was a ship captain. They decided to enlarge her role, though, and made her Bette's sister.
I don't like that dress, but I was afraid I'd be killed. It is the neck thing...don't like it. Seems all the "curly" is gone from her hair too. I like it, it's just not my fav.

She does seem...
perfectly cast as the Ob/gyn. Actually I think she'd be great in any role as a doctor or scientist.

My GYN Dr.
Did all those things....OB check ups, delivered babies, did inseminations, checked for breast lumps. I don't think that's unusual for a GYN.

Actually, a lot of health care providers will allow you to
select your gynecologist as your primary care physician. I thought that there was an actual line somewhere in Season 3 about Dana getting a referral from Bette or Tina -- I really have not committed Season 3 to memory in the same fashion, however, and I could be wrong.
It was 302 - Lost Weekend

Wow, you watch the whole episode?
I know I did once (when it first aired), but generally I've got my finger on the fast-forward button.
I usually do let the whole episode run.

I can't remember what this is from?????

It's from the Pilot
Dr. Wilson calls Bette out of the exam room to have a look at the sperm sample.
DUH
How could I forget that one. The poster on the wall threw me. I don't think I ever noticed it before.
"What are you doing with my girlfriend?"

I remember reading in Curve that they were going to call it Earthlings and I thought that was strange. I can't imagine anything but the L Word.
Yvonne, why must your pics taunt me so?

It was in numerous articles...
just before the show premiered. Here's a link to one of them.

LOL! Earthlings!
Who can forget that? Not to mention Kit's sailor hat..

I can't really see the ship captain thing originally planned
for Pam Grier working out well. I don't know why, it just doesn't work for me.
Geeze....
I hope she wasn't an alcoholic too!
"What are you doing with my girlfriend?"
The hat thing was intended to be..
"a symbol of Kit's wisdom and role as group mentor"
The only thing I can imagine with that hat, is Bette being forced to call her "O Captain! My Captain!" everytime she wanted a favour from her big sis..
In the commentary to the Pilot they were saying that

I see...
lol So, the hat wasn't just a fashion statement
Now you got me thinking, what Bette " you're so snob " Porter and a Captain could have in common and bond over in order to become friends..
just to add to Silverballnz's gorgeous pics
thx Freaky

Have to say that I don't see the point of covering up her
neck in any way. Too reminiscent of that thing they put her in for Tina's award ceremony.
