It's inevitable
Shenny is a slow burning story that's been building up for years.
And now we've had a major event that's shaken them both and will lead them to each other. There is no Jenikki nor is there a Sholly. Each of those ships were merely links in the chain that serve no other function than to propel the Shenny storyline to the fore.

It's weird...cause I don't really see many shenny fans here in Ourchart..but if u see on youtube or other forums there are many shenny fans...and also after season 5 finale many people started wondering if they could really be the next couple and most of them agree with us that it would be nice to see shenny happen :)

I'm just getting more and more nervous and I really don't know why. I mean... It wouldn't make sense at all if they make Jenny and Nikki a couple after the last episode, right? Maybe they click physically but there is so much more needed for a good relationship. They're like miles away from each other on the emotional and wisdom surfaces. And the starlet threated Jenny like sh*t!
I would really do anything to make Shenny happen but I know that there is so much negativity towards this idea these days.
I mean, I'm sure that the whole Shenny thing has been in preparation but I'm scared that Illene and the others responsible will follow the audiences heart.
And I, as many of you, know for sure that Shane and Jenny are meant to be together!
I'm gonna shoot myself if they make the stupidest thing ever and let Jenny be with Nikki.

the sholly's and jeniki's are the ones needing to be nervous. They have the dead ship not us. Why do you think their thread has maybe 50 posts a day, by probably no more than 7 posters. Ilene is planning on telling the story no matter what a few posters rant and rave about. I understand wanting to talk about your fav actress or relationship, but it's not going to change the outcome of the show. Ilene is planning on heading towards shenny, the finale was all the proof I needed that shenny is coming in 09.

I understand what you mean...I used to be like that also...but since I know CF is going to be just in 2 episodes I feel better...I really don't know if they're going to end up together...because I'm not sure how Shane feels...I do think Jenny is inlove with Shane...but that's it...I hope they end up together...cause I think they're exactly what they need for each other...and also they're the most changing and intense characters...those 2 are the only ones I don't have a clue how they're going end up...probably that was Ilene's intention...the most problematic characters...ending up together..however the fist thing Ilene has to do...is to fix everything with their friendship and to change FINALLY change Shane's behavior so Jenny can forgive her, if that happens..and Jenny doesn't end up with Nikki..is good enough for me...

I've never been worried about Niki either.
I'm more concerned about how are they going to recontruct the relationship between Shane and Jenny.
Besides I'm not convinced that they can have a stable thing, maybe it wouldn't be a credible change for Shane. But I have to recognize that if that is the plan for her, after what happened last season, I think this is the right time.
And as I said before, regardless of the nature of her relationship with Shane, I hope Molly doesn't get much screen time.
I have never been worried
I have never been worried about Nikki and Jenny getting back together, I would be very surprised if Kate French was
in S6 at all. I used to be a little concerned about Molly and Shane but with the news that CF
will only be in two episodes has me feeling better. IC and company do pay attention to the boards
but more for broader themes like having more sex or more humor. They are not going to pander
to small pockets of fans when deciding which characters end up together no matter how many times a day
they post messages in the boards.
I think Ilene has always intended for Shane and Jenny to be together and we know she can be stubborn. Just look at how she has stuck by that theme song even though she knows it is almost universally loathed.

A couple of bits that I find encouraging:
Do you have the final season mapped out in full?
"We have it not only mapped out, but we've delivered stories, I've assigned scripts and most of it is in the works."
Could you give us any teasers or hints on what's to come?
"Teasers and hints? No! Other than we're going to continue telling the stories we've been telling, and that every bit of drama we've [pursued], we're going to continue and pay off. The only major comment that I'd want to make is that all of our major characters are returning - we're deeply and obligingly in their lives - but we'll see a lot of highs and lows for each of them."
The shollys and anti-shennys can spam away in their stupid petitions and run up the thread counts
as much as they want but the outcome isn't going to change. I also like that she seems to indicate
that the focus will be on the main charterers. I think that Molly and Niki were like red shirts in a
Star Trek episode. They were expendable characters that were brought in to advance the story
to it's ultimate conclusion, which is Shenny.
