stolen humor
The New Girlfriend (I just like saying that...tee hee) and I were watching the Wisecrack series from Logo on DVD last night, and laughing our asses off, and I realized that I'd stolen one of my favorite lines from Vickie Shaw's act...in particular, the part where she talks about being a gay man with heterosexual tendencies in a lesbian's body...
Okay, so I'm not nearly so femme, but I'm lousy at playing sports and like to get dressed up, so I've been telling folks I'm a gay man in a lesbian body...and now, I have to admit I'm an inadvertant plagiarist. *sigh*
Just think of it as paying the ultimate compliment to the
original Humorist. It happens. I find myself saying lines from the L Word quite a bit. It just slips out. I am so much a product of my generation. I usually pick up whatever slang there is pretty quickly. My son says that I sound like someone from his generation more so than mine. I think that was a compliment, kind of.;)

The start of my week
Ahhhh, the beginnings of another week for me. Hi-ho-hi-ho its back to work I go. I'm thinking I need to put in for a week end off, or should I say a Sat. and Sun. off. And what would I actually do? No telling.

Just another one of those work songs I humm when the day isn't going how I planned.
Today went better than I had expected.
Because of a schedual change earlier in the week I was able to aggitate a co-worker who has issues with my "life style".
Being the "head of asset protection" is my store I take presidence over all other employees when it comes to security issues and she has issues that I can actually tell her I want her to watch the door so I can take a break. I rarely use that ability, but when she's there....you bet I take advantage of that. She's given notice and is only going to be there until August so it bothers me not in the least to aggitate her.

to have stuck in your head, right? Well, although, this could be distracting if you are otherwise doing something pleasant. I could suggest some jingles for advertising that would be worse, but I won't. It's not a kind thing to do.

is Kiki Smith's "Fawn" - the print that Bette sold after she lost her job - when she and Tina were having money problems - when they were falling apart. It is still my only wish for Season Six - that Tina gets back the "Fawn" print for Bette.

No major plans. I'm excited to be off work! This is the first 4th I've had off in.....(I forgot how long!) I'll probably be doing a little beer drinking with friends. This is the time of year for class reunions,etc...a lot of people tend to come back for our July 4 celebration. You run into people you haven't seen for 15 years...Kinda fun. It's interesting coming out to people you went to high school with...hahaha!
