Me and this girl are almost best friends,we laugh a lot,etc, BUT I love her,she knows that,but she has a gf,so I'm dying inside in the meantime..
Anyway,I wanna be a real friend but I can't until my feelings are gone..
I know that I could start to get over her by knowning other girls,etc,but I can't stop thinking about her, so I really don't pay attention to other girls atm..
How can I let these feelings of love go away?
Have you ever been in a similar situation?

When I was in this situation, and of course I couldn't get the girl out of my head, the only way I came out of it was then I started falling for someone else. Also from things that have happened to my friends, I am convinced this is the only thing that works.
I'm not saying you must fall in love with someone else, like NOW. Only that it will happen and when it does, you'll feel like a huge weight has been lifted off your shoulders!

I know this situation all too well, everytime the chick came around my kitty kat went into a fit, I started dreaming about her, thinking about her daily, it was nuts, I forced myself to go out--which was good for the time being, the issue came when I wasnt surrounded by friends and new love interests--the thoughts would still come, after a while I just gave up, I realized that if it was meant to be something would happen, well, nothing did happen, I stayed away from her as much as possible. I couldnt bring myself to further continue hurting, I stopped hanging around her, and even though it was difficult it got easier, the only advice I can offer is to put distance there. I hope things get better with you, and I know they will, this will pass eventually. Take care sweetness.

Yes i've been in a similar situation too...i started dating girls but i just can't seem to get over her...for me it's a very difficult task to do am even becoming an unstable person because of her,i dunno what to do...after all the bad things she put me through i just can't let go.the only thing i know is that nothing is forever and if u're not meant to be so be it!just think that there's so many out there willing to love u back just open u're heart coz someday all the pain would be worth it.

i was in a similar situation a few months ago.
and all i did was kept saying to myself "i am over her."
i also tried to ignore how i felt towards the girl and kept myself occupied with something else. whether it is a hobby, a new crush, books etc. also, it helped that i evaded her calls/messages and her all together for a while.
i know it maybe hard now. but try to get yourself busy with other productive things. besides, its summer -- maybe you should take a vacation away from all the drama.

Hahah!I'm laughing coz you mentioned a vacation,well,I'm leaving for England in five days,but she's gonna be there and we're gonna spend a lot of time together..
Maybe it's not the appropriate thing to do if I want to get over her,but I can't help it,I have to see her..

I think the best way to get
I think the best way to get over somebody is try to avoid watching her... I have noticed that with that girl I mentioned beneath (actually the only time in my life I felt so strong things about anyone) I become a total mess when I see her. When I don't see her for some days I start trying to convince myself that I'm over this but when I see her again...BANG! But since that girl is your best friend it's difficult, and it's also a shame to lose such a good friend... So I don't think that's a good idea...

get a hobby. Your mind will start focusing on something else, something that's not her.

I totally suck on letting go... I'm into the same person for...hmmm...5-6 months maybe... I believe we don't have control over this, it just goes away by itself...
