I HATE HER!!!

I say bring it on bitch!!!! I think this should be an opportunity for us TiBetters to see Bette overthrow temptation in favor of her and Tina's love. I'm in favor of witnessing Bette prove to everyone that she's not the serial cheater that she has been branded as. No matter how strong someone's bond is there will always be obstacles. I'm ready to see them overcome them as a unit. Sort of that US AGAINST THE WORLD mantra.
Don't get me wrong I like Elizabeth Berkley and am looking forward to seeing what she has in store for our love birds. But merely as a bump in the road to be crossed.
Just a thought: Maybe instead of Bette it's Tina she'll be after. Afterall Bette's never really had any threats of other women taking her spot. Yeah there were those who were mentioned in a few episodes but I wanna actually see Bette triumph and show that she's the Alpha we have all come to know and fall in love with!

all i care with this storyline that no matter what EB's character does, Bette can't cheat again, if she will she will lose Tina, Angelica and all her fans...i don't think Bette is a serial cheater and i think she learned something about herself and about her relationships in season 5...i don't care what kind of drama EB will bring to season 6, i don't want to see another infidelity...hopefully it's just something to do with art

My question is, if we get what we want, for Tina and Bette to stay together, then what would that mean for a spin-off?? I was thinking Bette would be in the spin-off, since she is the main character, but how could Bette and Tina stay together, if only Bette would be in a spin-off? Unless someone is lieing about only having one cast member from TLW in the spin-off. Could it really be the Tibette spin-off??? I would love that. All I know, if Tina or Bette or both are not in the spin-off, I probably won't be as interested in watching a spin-off. Unless, it was Alice, I would watch for her. None of the other characters are interesting enough to keep my attention. When I watch my DVD's now, I fast forward to all the Bette and Tina scenes and sometimes Alice. I can not fastfard fast enough through Shane, I am so sick of watching her have sex!! But I can not get enough of Tina and Bette having sex :)
I'm starting to look forward to seeing what EB brings to the show, but I would HATE IC if she gets Bette and EB's character together and puts them in a spin-off together. OMG, I would be so disappointed if that happens. Hook EB's character up with Helena or Alice. I don't mind Tina's feathers getting ruffled up a little over Eb's character, it will make for good tv, and maybe we would get some great mad sex scenes again with Tina and Bette. But ultimately I would want Bette to stay faithful.

Seriously, out of every character on the freaken l word, it has to be bette? I'll probably get rocks thrown at me by half the chicks on here but i cant stand bette. Shes the one character on the show that i wish hadnt been on the show, and now she has to take Elizabeth! Either way, Elizabeth Berkley is so hot, im so excited to see her on.

hopefully they'll just have it be a shane conquest to confirm her unexplained feelings towards women. haha.

before EB's name came up that she is going to play in the L word the only chemistry is between TiBette!!!!!! ( i read that she and JB also have chemistry) it always have and it always will!!!!! i agree also agree with fablu about the background of tina let's see how this is going to develop mother or father brother or sister. no more TiBette drama we have enough of that for 4 1/2 season. in season 5 jenny was right at least about this TiBette had to try to talk about it in stead of running away from each other.IC LET'S RIDE THEM OF AT SUNSET BOULEVARD TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it's pretty funny how much controversy the whole S6 with EB is getting, and a spin-off with only one actress from the L Word. I don't have a problem with EB, it's just she's friends with JB and that kind of puts a kink in the storyline. Since viewers know this, it can mess with the chemistry/storylines. I wish they got someone like Piper Perabo (coyote ugly). I just pray she is not there to start trouble for Tina and Bette, first of all it would be so predictable. But I think IC is a better writer then that and would not do that. I am not sure what's in stored for Tina and Bette.... is season six really it?? If it is, the only way to end this story is to have them married and happy. If the story will go on....(which I pray it will), whether in a spin off....then later down the line maybe they can run into relationship issues...but we will cross that bridge if we get there. I hope her character is more classy, not sleasy like in Showgirls. I hope she plays a character more like Bette....if they are more alike then they won't like each other anyway. Hey instead of her stealing Bette, maybe she will try to steal Tina. But of course Tina will be faithful!! Ok, let's not go there....just keep her out of Bette and Tina's relationship. :)

I really don't think I'll live through more TiBette drama. I waited years for them to get back together. I hope EB proves to be a friend to TiBette. I never watched SBTB. Just not my thing.

… To admit I was crushing on Jessie Spano – it was the curly hair. Ok maybe her legs too but definitely the hair. Anyway …

Showgirls was what 13 years ago? That’s such a lifetime ago and she’s worked on many many things since. It’s funny how an actor may sign onto something that in its original form looks great. Then 20 script revisions later mixed with bad direction causes such deep professional scars when she was just doing her job – it’s the people behind the camera that should be blamed for that mistake. Oh well she took one for the team and didn’t give up. Mad respect for that.

As far as getting this gig – you go gurl. How many of us have at one time or another put the word out there that you’re looking for a job or gave past associates and friends a copy of your resume for the chance at an interview. So what if she perhaps had an advantage over other candidates for this role. I’d bet she still had to read for the role so IC+Friends could make sure she’d fit the part. Can you imagine how intimated EB must feel walking onto the set with this cast and crew who’ve worked together for the past six years? I’m sure in the back of her mind there’s tons of self-doubt and trepidation knowing when people thing of EB they think of the catastrophe that was Showgirls. Utterly intimidating, well would be for me anyway.

All that silliness aside; hopefully she learns a lot, has a blast, and ‘works it’. As a person, everyone deserves a chance and my wish is this really opens doors that had been closed. And she’s a woman and I’m biased so hell yea I hope this character is a really great and challenging role for her. She’ll have fabulous writers and directors with TLW so if there’s a time to show her abilities now is it. Good luck!

Ok now for the show… As long as her character doesn’t mess up anything with B&T it’s all good. I agree with others below the couple needs to be tested. But EB’s character was introduced as “the straight girl that got away” so who knows what that really means until January ‘09. It could just be a storyline we haven’t seen yet: when you fall for a straight girl that really is not interested. Ok and before you say it … ‘gay for pay’ Lez Girls cast doesn’t count as a real storyline for this topic.
