Listen up. I was wondering if any of your girls who live in England are up for a bit of acting. I'm a developing script writing living in Cambridge, and I'd love to make my big debut at a lesbian/gay film festival. I have a script all ready to go, and now i just need my little actresses to come along with it. If any of you guys are interested, just email me up, and I'll give you a list of the characters, and what their personalities are like. If you guys are interested then wicked!

I live in Greece. I know it's difficult to be original, especially in script writing, because there are so many stories already told... But this means you must find a very prototypical director and kick-ass actors. When the audience shudders and cries, an already told story is the last thing the think about... ;)
The industry has always been bitchy, don't expect anyone to come and ask you to write a script about a gay relationship. Make your stuff and show it anywhere you can, not only LGBT festivals... Anywhere!

Well thank you very much. Where do you live? Sorry haven't looked at your profile yet. I feel like it's very hard to get ideas out in the industry here in England, even though for some reason i feel like they are less judgmental of the act itself. Of being gay or lesbian and out and proud. I do have a couple of professional film maker friends, but they do mostly commercial or horrors. I mean they do use homosexual characters, but that's only to bring the public in. To draw certain people to watching the films, but nothing serious like the films i wanna direct, so they're not helping much. I don't know what to do apart from keep writing them, and then slowly do things myself. But it is very hard to right a very original gay/lesbian film with all the "relationship-based" gay/lesbian films coming out or already made.
