Saw Ilene today.
I drove by Vancouver Community College 30 mins ago. I saw a big Rainbow flag hanging on the wall. I was wondering if the L word was filming.Right at this moment, I saw Ilene talking to a lady. *Sigh* Why not Kate? I wanna see Kate in person.

I have followed her since 2000 and have NEVER even caught a glimpse. So many others you can meet and all that. It's never the ones that you really follow close though. Life sucks like that;-(

VOGUE???
Anyone recall a April or May 08 Vogue spread with Kate. the photos of her that recently were found on Vistalux are by a photog named Steve Simko..He emailed me back and said he "thinks" they were for american Vogue maybe april or may of 08.
(they were displayed on my site TKF's and the K word- shes in a white dress in some and 3 black and whites)...

Hi guys...How is everyone...Where did everyone go? I agree KATE ON TOP THREADS... So yeah I do this lil site called TheKateFans..Myspace and off. I have worked max on the off myspace page and I wanted to let you guys know that it has a new forum section. Brand spanking new.

Anyways there is a section for TKF's forum. Its new and I am still learning the forum part of the server. The page itself is not new but the forums are so bare with me as I figure out all the glitches and try to fix them. It doesn't seem you can post actual photos but you can leave a link for folks to check out.
You don't have to register to comment at current.

KATE REQUEST FOR EVENT
Are any of you Katefans going to the event in Philly. I am going doing the whole VIP thing whatever that means. I was hoping to meet some Katefans along my journey. The JB fans have been WONDERFUL and inviting and I am looking forward to meeting those folks, but curious if any KSM diehards are heading to the city of brotherly love?
IF SO or even IF NOT: I started a petition to get Kate to Philly. I figure they petition for everything so why not that.
Still no news who else other than JB is attending and Im stoked to see all and any L cast. THEY ROCK. But geesh, the L is ending and when else will there be another event to maybe possibly get a scribble from Kate...
So I thought (in my moennig'd mind) that if we spoke loudly that we would like her to come to the event if she wasn't going to attend she could change her mind or if she was going to come maybe it would make her happy to see the love shown on the OC boards!
So post on that thread if it isn't already on page 3 by now.
I hope to see her there, but again I purchased with the knowledge that she most likely wouldn't but might. So I wont be mad if she isn't there just a bit sad. I can still go to WM&S and get a Moennig Momento so all is good in the Katefan hood regardless!
So if anyone is going PLZ hit me up I would like to get a little katefan gathering going. IF you are going PLZ comment the petition blog and even if not do so to help out! Because if she goes there will be more pictures of her to post around;-) Thats an incentive even if you are not going. SHould have added that to the petition explanation.
As usual, I am crappy on these boards and know not how to make things "rank at the top" etc. So anyways if you can or will help, thanks. Further if you are going and you love The Kate can you holla back now!

I am plannin to copy Kate's chic casual style to plan for the Philly event... This might sound desperate, lame or overall retarded. However, I AM NOT doing dresses. So I look to Kate for inspiration on what could work that won't me feel like....

i guess you'd call it hard candy in US. whatever, it's a vile stick of glucose and Enumbers with the name of the 'resort' running through the middle of it. It was a bit of a custom in UK to bring back these teeth breaking multi coloured sticks that are supposedly edible as 'gifts' for people you knew when you went on holiday. DON'T ASK ME WHY! See, and you thought it was all bowler hats, public schools and inbred royalty over here :)

I am excited for Leisha and happy to see an Alice spin off in 09...BUT can I just do this here please.

I really really wanted it to be a Shane Spin off. She had so much of a story left to tell. The entire show left Shane's story half told and with so much room to expand.
Not only that but Kate has an excellent ability to HOLD HER ON for a show revolving around her character. I would have loved to have seen her get a great new career, and get shay back and then continue on with her ventures. It would have been a nice dramatic/comedic show.
I think Leisha will be WONDERFUL and I think the Alice spin off will be really great. I also think Kate will cameo because those two gals are BFF's..Also Mia K..I think the old L cast will appear here or there.
BUT still I would be an absoulte LIAR if I said I was not a bit sad it isn't Kate... She is too:-(
Oh well..Moving on here is a cool photo:-)

L word charity event
I have followed Kate about 8 years in the trades. Never attended an L conv or anything. TO FAR AWAY. Well I DID book to go to the VIP Event in Philly on Oct 30th. Thus far NO announcement of whom else of the cast is coming along with Jennifer and Ilene. Leisha is in Canada for an UHH show that night and Mia K is in Cali for a book sign that night. SO those two are O U T! However, What is Kate doing? Dag nab it I hope she comes to the event... I doubt it, because nothing great happens for me like meeting Kate (its been 8 years) but wouldn't that be grand?
Is ANY KSM fans going to the event in hopes? Would love to meet up if so..
I would love just ONE exclusive photo of me and Kate for the website! JUST ONE! -LOL
