I came out on facebook on National Coming Out Day. It was rather anticlimactic, but I am definitely relieved. My sister and best friend changed their statuses to "is an ally" in support, which was great. I would have wimped out if it weren't for them.

that's awesome! i've come out to my parents, well to my mom, who told my dad, who has never mentioned it to me at all... and a few of my friends and a cousin, which was weird cause we aren't close at all, we are barely friends... sorry i'm rambling. my point is, i really want like, everyone to know but i'm too scared to, people can be harsh. so i'm proud of you for doing it! i hope it all goes well :)
