Is there any way to know the age of the person that you're chatting to? I may think they're 30 and then it turns out they're only 18. At my age, that feels a bit wrong.

Hi. It was my understanding that OC was created for the LGBT community. As of late, one of the forums that many of us have frequented has been literally "hyjacked" by a number of straight women who post there virtually 24 hours a day and it's become somewhat of a "chat" room for them. This is one of the important character forums here and many of us are in a quandry as to what to do about this. They talk about intimate details of making love with their husbands and all personal conversations, all the while posting LWord photos thathave nothing to do with what they're talking about. Please give me some guidance on how to deal with this situation. Thanks

Hi Lisa, I was re-watching some of the "Come On Ilene" podcasts from the 4th season, and noticed that part 2 from episode 409 with Laurel was missing.
Ep 409 was a 2-part podcast...part 1 with Mia and part 2 with Laurel, so maybe it got inadvertently misplaced on the site redesign.

It is still floating around the website, cuz someone had bookmarked the specific link last year, but there is no way to find it with the other videos. The actual link that someone saved is here: http://www.ourchart.com/node/10845

menu, as it is important. At the moment some folks think there is an evil conspiracy going on. I prefer to think that it was just a simple mistake.

Ok so I didn't see anything about this [forgive me if I just overlooked it...my search was half-assed anyway]...the right of my screen keeps insisting that I have messages but everytime I check there's nothing there. I've checked my privacy settings and all seems to be in order. What's going on? Am I crazy? =)

I was reading this thread and someone asked to have video's embedded. And, one of the mods came on and said that was a no no because of hackers doing damage to other people's computers.

Can someone explain to me and I think others of us who are not computer geeks what embedding means? because many of us have visited other sites and there are video's on those sites. Does this mean that we are in danger of having our computers compromised just by visiting those sites and opening video's there?

Someone please help with this important security question. Thank you very much.

how do you leave pictures when you comment in the forums?

I'm trying to download another pic for my profile, but it keeps jumping back to my dogs picture. Even after I delete current photo, choose another and hit submit. It just keeps jumping back to my pup. I also tried clearing my history (not sure if this does anything but I tried anyway.) Can you help me??? Thanks in advance.

I have a question, somewhat case-sensitive I suppose... I have gotten some friend requests from 16 year olds, and am wondering if it is problematic to accept these requests, as this is supposed to be an 18+ site. Obviously I have no intentions of perving out, but I am hesitant to even accept them as friends because of potential "issues."
What to do?
