Are your parents addicted to oil and the occupation of Iraq, and do they have a disregard for women’s health? Well, MoveOn.org has created a PSA featuring Gossip Girl's Penn Badgley and Blake Lively to help you talk to your folks.
My mom, a republican...will not vote McCain. But my eldest brother, a 20 year-career retired Air Force veteran...is voting McCain.
My dad...he won't say. He can say one thing and actually vote another.
My guess, my gay brother who is a retired Air Force'ee, isn't voting McCain. But I'm not sure what the military life did to him on a very personal level.
My dad was a die-hard Hillary supporter (he raised 5 daughters) who only came around to enthusiastically supporting Obama in the last month or so. My mom called me the other day to brag to me about chasing off a "Yes on 8" canvasser.
My brother married into a family of Repugs, but happily his wife and in-laws are voting for Obama this year. Palin horrifies them.

My mother who is a registered republican is voting for Obama, which is great. But, sadly, my father who is/was a die-hard democrat, naturalized immigrant, believer in the American dream, has lately become jaded and told me that he isn't going to vote in the election because he doesn't think the system works for anyone....
