October 24, 2008 - 2:04am — south0930my couzin ask me that question and i really dont know the answer about ... been through that i love to watch anime yuri / shoujo ai/ lez tv shows like the l word and south of nowhere ... i make a lot of amv of those in youtube ... and i think i am bi... i am not interested in a tv show unless its a story about two women... in our country people thinks you are gay if you watch that kind of show...but i think its art and does not make you automatically gay... i am not quite sure about this what do you think....?

no, watching those things doesn't automatically mean you're gay. it just means you're open to gay stories. maybe because they provide a different something-something compared to the typical straight love stories. Ex. my friend watched the entire 5th season of the L word with me and she's straight.

No, you're not automatically gay by watching that.
But I mean, from my side, I like gay movies and tv-shows because I feel like they are more me. I don't know how to explain it, but since I'm gay, I feel like they are more personally to me. Like, that how I want to live my life. But don't get me wrong, I love straight romantic movies, but there is something more special about gay movies. But as I said, that's how I feel =) But no one has to be gay to watch a gay movie =) Do gay people have to be straight for loving straight movies? ;) Hehe
