Three More Pop Quizzes

It's the end of the academic year, and I'm all about the quizzes. Grade inflation is the rule here at the Hookup, so even if you don't get a single answer correct (cf: Rovermom in yesterday's Undead quiz -- sorry, Rover!), you still get an A for trying. And a fake diploma allowing you to perform weddings while at sea.
Here's Pop Quiz #1:
Which is the only U.S. state whose laws explicitly bar "homosexuals" from adopting children?
Which is the only U.S. state whose laws ban "same-gender" couples from adopting children? (Hmm… very PC language - must be a pretty forward-thinking homophobic state, yes?)
And finally: Which state bans any unmarried couple, gay or straight, from adopting? (Hint: this state's laws also reportedly ban people from having sex with anyone except their spouses, and require that daylight must be visible between two people dancing together.)
You will have 10 minutes. When the bell rings, please put your pencils down, and lay your heads on your desks. After a brief nap time, we'll move on to:

The ever-popular "Lesbian… Or German Lady?". If you've never played this before, it's a wonderful old Internet favorite in which you look at a photo of a woman and decide: Is she a lesbian? Or is she simply German? There is no option for German lesbians, unfortunately.
Pop Quiz #3:
Look, I know I said yesterday that we'd have a moratorium on Jerry Falwell quotes. But that was before I saw this new quiz from Nom de Grr: Hitler or Falwell? You peruse a compendium of quotes, and try to guess which was uttered by whom. Good luck! And my apologies for breaking the moratorium.

Pop Quiz #2: "Lesbian… Or German Lady?"

I got two wrong on the German/Lesbian thing
Hitler and Falwell confused me profusely. I didn't bother to take it, as their comments bored me.

Okay, I used to live in Germany and my son was born there, so I thought I might have a chance. I did okay--I missed 3. But to my defense, I've been stateside for the last 12 years!

Pop Quiz #2
is sooo much fun! I live in Germany and a friend of mine and I have this game: we make bets whether or not one particular lady walking on the street is gay or not. In 8/10 cases it turns out that this woman is heterosexual. I guess it´s just the German sense of style which is awful! Birkenstock sandals should be banned (especially if you´re wearing white socks inside them)!

Well I skipped quiz 1, I know very little about your country's laws, the nuns must have skipped that part of US studies at my little Canadian school on the prairie...go figure
Quiz 2, I scored 7 out of 9.
Quiz 3, I scored 8 out of 10, which disturbs me....

i don't know enough about adoption laws or american law so....didn't do quiz 1.
got 6/9 on the lesbian or german.
And as for hitler and falwell.....well i must have hitler youth in my blood as i got them all right lol don't know if thats gd or a bad thing

Not sure on the first pop quiz, but if I had to venture a guess, the answer to all of pop quiz #1 would lie in the bible belt.
9 out of 9 correct on the second pop quiz. My gaydar is second only to Jack McFarland! :p
As for the third quiz- wow, too difficult to tell. When I read the answers, I was surprized to see that only a few were Falwell.

Florida is the only state
Florida is the only state that explicitly prohibits adoption by gay and lesbian individuals and same-sex couples. Mississippi prohibits same-sex couples from adoption and second-parent adoption. Utah forbids adoption by any unmarried cohabiting couple, thereby discriminating against all same-sex couples.

a)Definite lesbian-it's all in the hair which is obviously an attempt to throw us off but I see past your deception! If you zoom in under the armpits they are a cm shorter than german armpit hair.

c)German-You can see in the background her towel is already on the sunbed by the pool.
d)Lesbian-no doubt short hair like everyone elses but her vest-top has had some thought put in to it, the kind of thinking only a real hardcore lesbian could think.

Well, maybe being a german lesbain helps. I was sooo off on the red head (left center)----and a spooky surprise, which leaves me at a 7/9 score for #2.
