A seemingly demure team “Betchy Kitty” takes the stage for this round of Be Scene. Remember the last time Alice and Tasha’s first love scene was performed? Well, OurChart members The Queen and mynameiscat give it another go. While this time the judges' table is spared a close-up make-out session, Kate, Leisha, Keener and Ilene still have very much to say about the passionate act.

I hope you all liked it...
I know this is from awhile ago, but I wanted to put my two cents in... we tried so hard! it was insane being up there with all of those beautiful women, as many of you can agree i'm sure. i know it was rushed, but i can say, i'm way better back stage than on it! Amy was so good though, so much conviction, so much determination. We did our best and it was great, and Amy very much deserved best actress and I think pigfest is right, she needs to be in the final season of the L Word!

I would say, I could feel the anger!
Committed, but a little rushed
More than any other team so far, I think these two were very focused and didn't let the crowd phase them. Ilene's 6 was way too harsh. On the other hand, I agree with Ilene that you have to wait for the audience to react sometimes when you're doing something live. The scene did have anger and some tension, but there weren't enough beats to really give time for that tension to really build. All in all, though, great job!
Can't wait for the next one when Rachel appears!

Yes.. I almost forgotten to comment.. on the previous video.. or rather.. I think Leish got booed twice so far on that night.. even though we've seen only like 4 videos of the dinah shore... I think she's the judge and she definitely have her reason and say.. and so.. yea.. Kate and Leish will probably really get together in season 19 of the L word.. haha

good to see your performance ... i loved the thespian comment and i agree about the commitment - i mean there were mics flying, butt cracks showing, but you were determined.
I also like the 'seemingly demure' description of your team - now that it's been a while, my memory is fading, but i seem to be remembering all the other teams rehearsing backstage, but i cannot recall yours ...
well, i am already scared thinking of what's to come in the comments after the next episode..... currently, there are 'Os' and '!!s' flying off my screen! lol
and just a general comment, i am surprised there wasnt that much improv in the scenes - i expected more.

I love my shirt
I actually didn't have a costume to wear. I wore what I had on at the pool party that day. My HOMEgirl t-shirt is a representation of my Love for the L-word specifically my love for Kate. (Holler to Arlan) Be Scene was the most fun I have had in a while. I will never forget it. I am so glad that Cat and I had the guts to do it. GO DINAH! And GO BETCHY KITTY!

But as for this webisode.
I thought this team did good. I didn't beleive it, though. Certain lines were delivered on, and others, the timing and emphasis and posture took it away. I mean, I agree with Ilene, in terms of being a professional - but this is for fun. Ilene is a tough cookie, I don't expect anything less.
But I couldn't get there and do that. It's why I was a stage hand and techie all those years. In fact I miss working behind the stage. It's a feeling like nothing else.
I really do enjoy Alex hosting this event. Absolutely! Totally puts a smile on my face.
