Hello from the improbable desert oasis of Palm Springs, which has made its annual transformation into the lesbian mecca that is the Dinah Shore Weekend.

I made my pilgrimage here from Brooklyn to document the scene for OurChart.

Last year I was here with writer Melena Ryzik doing a story on the Dinah for The New York Times, and apparently I could not stay away. Where else could I wear the white mesh pants I bought in a thrift store here last year, truly embracing my inner queer-retiree-golfer self?

Friday night was the FYKE oil wrestling event and there are more adventures to come...
