Kind of makes you wish you'd been there, right? Well, today's your lucky day. Uh Huh Her is heading out across the states and parts of Canada, and OurChart's giving you a chance to hit up the show at your local tour stop.
To enter, send *one email only* with your OurChart member name, your legal name, your phone number, and the tour date you want to attend to nettwerkcontest@nettwerk.com. One lucky contestant will be randomly selected and awarded two tickets to their requested show. To see when Uh Huh Her will be hitting your town, click here. This contest is only open to tour dates from May 7th to May 31st, and you have until midnight PST on Monday 5/5 to enter.

miami show
i saw them in downtown miami on may 10th...that show was LIFE ALTERING they did such an amazing job!!i think they were sooo freaked out by every lesbian in miami :) we kept screaming i love you leisha and camila multiple times haha that they wouldnt stop laughing

A friend of mine said that their sound was a little rough live still. Annnnd I know that the sound on a few YouTube vids is equally as rough.
I don't really care, as long as I can say I've seen UHH live within their first year of production.

Haha, I'm excited man,
Going to see them tonight at the Exit/In in Nashvegas, TN.
It's going to be a blast. I have a promo copy of their new album and it is phenomenal. They have expanded on all the sounds in the EP, I've had to make myself stop listening to it so I don't get burn out on it. I've done that before and if I'm going to be playin it on the radio in August, I need to not be tired of it by then. ;)

I like their album but i dunno...some of the live stuff I've heard on youtube isn't as good. One in particular made me cringe. Maybe it was just a bad day or something.. anyway..
Sound
Some of the videos on youtube do not have good sound and are not picking up how their live concert really sounds, so don't let that influence your decision to go.

..if I could. Alas, i live at the the end of the world (to be read Romania)..so it's a bit hard.

That's exactly the type of sound in the videos that I'm talking about. Someone's personal video cam or phone cam can't capture how it really sounds in the room. That isn't how Camila really sounds live.
Addendum: Yesterday I saw someone's video from the Minneapolis concert. The sound was awful; nothing like how it really sounded in person.

I was looking for youtube videos of UHH coz we have this festival (BestFest) in Bucharest (this year feats. Nelly, Alanis, Stereophonics and many, many more) and I wanted to e-mail the organizers and suggest UHH for next year. I still wanna e-mail them, but I'm just a bit worried that they might stumble across that video and have the same impression as I did.

I saw that clip, that you sent me, before - yeah, that was in SD - and they have change so much since that - not to say they don't make mistakes - they are still very new at playing live.
That song clip was a train wreck - they don't have that guitarist anymore. I have admiration for Cam to have kept on going despite the fuck-ups in that particular song. With each gig, they are growing leaps and bounds - as a band.
Each gig is different, each night is different, and problems do happen. Since I have seen the new band members play on this mini-tour, and even when they were in England and Scotland, their sound has taken on a new life form, and it's reflected in their concerts.

Hey this was taken just over the weekend. I'm sure, well...I know I sure don't want to miss them - even if I have to drive to DC or Boston, because I can't get off when they are in Philly or NYC. They are on fire...
And I saw a clip of Cam doing a 'piano solo' and she was throwing classical music into it, and it was sooo fucking hot!
I recommend hoping on the train and go see them...

I've been to their first. In NYC, the sound was awesome - not only because they were awesome, but the Mercury Lounge had a pretty decent sound system to begin with. Most fans who do their concerts on film, can't do the sound right - and it will sound like shit. And not at ALL like what it really sounded like during the concert.
Go. See them. Experience it. You won't regret it do to their sound or them playing. If you like their album, you'll love their concert. And between Leisha and Cam chatting back and forth between songs, they are really entertaining.

I had fun and met both
I had fun and met both Shauna and Kiran. They are both extremely nice - and Kiran is such a sweetie. He asked me if Bitter:Sweet should kick off a tour with Boy George this summer. They've been pondering it. I told him "hell yeah!" And I told him he should consider the True Colors Tour
I took some pictures. I had a wonderful time during the concert, but NYC wasn't too nice to me - more or less the NYPD tow truck. I spent the night at the Manhattan Tow Pound. Seriously. It was the most expensive free concert I have ever attended. And my over night room was lousy, bright and loud. I didn't get home till after 3pm Thursday. *sigh* and I gotta take the bus back tomorrow. My car is still there, since I didn't have ALL of the paperwork - and waited forever for my BF to wire me money. And I had to work tonight **gripe**
But I loved their show!

saw them in LA last summer, and she's a definite hottie. her girlfriend was patrolling the crowd, though--on high alert.

I know they did a show last fall in Vancouver. They just might add another gig in to Van City before the year is out. I think after L-word filming (during the summer), they plan on doing a European tour, and hitting Japan and Australia after that.
I want to see a True Colors show. I missed it last year. Soooo glad Cindi is doing another one!:) Lucas is a squeeze!

Because I love UHH and have been following them since the beginning. I made this last fall. I was just goofing off and trying to make a gig bill.
I wanted to make a gig bill for each of these gigs, this spring, but I am overwhelmed with work.
Cindi does rock! I wish UHH could get a line in with one of the True Color stops. The True Colors is gaining more momentum, and I hope she continues to do this project, year after year, because - this is an excellent spring board for the LBGTQ community. It's a way to bring us together.

A little jealous
...of all you lucky ladies who will catch them on this tour. The fact that they'r not coming to Denver at least obviates the self pity I would be feeling were they playing one of the many nights I am on call this month... Good luck to all hoping for tickets!

LAST NIGHT!
Hell, I saw them last night and Im still hung over... It was alright, the drummer was great because unfortunately thats all you could really hear. Leisha's left boob was hanging out so I don't think anyone noticed the bad sound mixing. so yes great show!!
