Ariel is inviting OurChart members to re-write a page from Potential. Enter your own story in the cells below for a chance to win. All entries will be judged by Ariel. The Grand Prize winner will receive an original portrait of herself drawn by Ariel along with signed copies of Ariel's comic books and a Potential t-shirt. ARIEL SCHRAG'S POTENTIAL CONTEST PRESENTED BY OURCHART.COM

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST.

This Skill Contest is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

1. CONTEST DESCRIPTION AND SELECTION OF PARTICIPANTS: The Contest is a competition of skill in which entrants (“Participant”) will write a story to accompany six (6) illustrated panels from Ariel Schrag's book, Potential . Each Participant will submit the story text ("Text") within six entry fields of 150 characters or fewer each on OurChart.com ("EventSite"). The judge will select three (3) winners ("Winners") from among all entries submitted on the EventSite. Selection of the Winners will be made by the judge based equally on originality, intrigue, believable dialogue and humor/pathos. Winners will be notified by email by August 8, 2008.

2. HOW TO ENTER: All Participants must register at the EventSite ourchart.com. Registration is free. Each Participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy on the EventSite, and the decisions of the judge and the Sponsor which are final and binding in all respects. Only one entry per person and per email address is permitted. By submitting Text, Participants warrant that their entry (i) is their original work; (ii) does not infringe or violate the rights of any third party, including but not limited to, copyrights, trademarks, logos, contract and licensing rights, rights of publicity or privacy, moral rights, or any other intellectual property rights; (iii) is not subject to any third party agreements, and that Sponsor will not be required to pay or incur any sums to any person or entity as a result of its ownership, acquisition, use or exploitation of the entry or rights therein; and (iv) does not contain any content that, in the opinion of Sponsor, is offensive or could adversely affect the name and reputation or goodwill of Sponsor. Entrants agree to indemnify Releasees (described below) from and against any cause of action, complaints, or other claims arising out of the breach of any of the foregoing warranties.

Entries must be received by 11:59 PM PST July 25, 2008. Sponsor exclusively owns all right, title and interest in and to all entries. At any time prior to, during or after the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Participant if in Sponsor’s sole discretion it considers any Participant has acted or is acting inappropriately in any way, or in violation of these Official Rules or the Contest information provided on the EventSite. Neither Sponsor nor any of its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, agents and employees, nor any Internet access providers (collectively "Releasees") are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry or judging, human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone or other network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof, inability to access the EventSite web site, or late, lost, damaged, misdirected, incorrect or incomplete entries.

3. SELECTION OF WINNERS: Entries will be judged by Ariel Schrag ("Judge"), who will score each entry based on the following judging criteria: 25% Originality, 25% Intrigue, 25% Believable Dialogue and 25% Humor and/or Pathos. The Judge's decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. By entering this Contest, Participants (i) agree that all entries submitted to Sponsor will be owned exclusively by Sponsor, and its affiliated and subsidiary companies, licensees, designees and assigns (collectively "Licensees"), and (ii) grant Sponsor and its Licensees the absolute right and permission to use their entries, names, voices, likenesses and photographs and to edit, modify, publish, exploit and use the content of and elements embodied in the entries in perpetuity in any and all media (whether now existing or hereafter devised) and in any manner, for trade, advertising, promotional, commercial, or any other purposes without further approval, compensation or consideration, and none will be returned.

4. PRIZES: There will be one (1) Grand Prize Winner, one (1) First Place Winner and one (1) Runner Up Winner. Grand Prize Winner will receive an original portrait drawing of the Winner by Ariel Schrag, copies of Ariel Schrag's comic books Potential and Awkward and Definition signed by Ariel Schrag, and a Potential t-shirt; Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $100.00. First Place Winner will receive copies of Ariel Schrag's comic books Potential and Awkward and Definition signed by Ariel Schrag, and a Potential t-shirt; Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $50.00. Runner Up Winner will receive a Potential t-shirt; Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $20.00. Grand Prize Winner must provide a photograph to Sponsor by August 15, 2008 for the creation of their original portrait drawing. All Winners' prizes will be delivered no later than September 1, 2008. Other restrictions may apply. No substitution, cash alternative or transfer of prizes permitted, except by Sponsor at Sponsor’s discretion for a prize of approximately equal value. Any taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. All prizes offered are provided "as is" with no warranty or guarantee either express or implied. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on a prize (if any) are subject to the respective manufacturers’ or suppliers’ terms therefore, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturer for any such warranty and/or guarantee.

5. ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is open only to individual legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (excluding its territories, possessions, commonwealths and military installations), 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry in the Contest. Not eligible to enter are employees, their immediate families (spouses and parents, siblings, children and their respective spouses) and members of the same household, of OurChart.com, LLC, and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies and advertising and promotion agencies. Sponsors will not enter into any correspondence, including email, with non-winning entrants. OurChart.com, LLC reserves the right, in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual found tampering with the entry process or entry materials. ALL ENTRANTS ACCEPT THE CONDITIONS STATED IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES, AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE DECISIONS OF THE JUDGES, WARRANT THAT THEY ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CONTEST AND RELEASE RELEASEES FROM AND AGAINST ALL CLAIMS AND DAMAGES ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THEIR PARTICIPATION AND/OR ENTRY IN THE CONTEST AND/OR AWARDING OR USE OF ANY PRIZE AWARDED IN THIS CONTEST. ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE OURCHART.COM, LLC. AND THEIR DESIGNEES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SUCH ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. The use of any automated launching or entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the participant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant based on an e-mail address, the entry in question may be disqualified subject to the judges’ discretion.

6. GENERAL PROVISIONS: This Contest and these Official Rules are governed by the law of the State of California without giving effect to the conflict of laws rules thereof . Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Contest must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the State of California. If, in the Sponsor’s or Administrator’s opinion there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Contest, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Contest, the judges reserve the right to void suspect entries and/or terminate the Contest, or conduct the Contest or award the prizes from among all eligible entries received as of the termination date. Should the Contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, the sponsor will endeavor to post notice of termination at OurChart.com. Void in Puerto Rico, where prohibited by law and outside the U.S. Except where prohibited, as a condition of participating in the Contest, entrants and Participants agree that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Contest, or the Event, or any prizes awarded, or the determination of winners shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will an entrant or Participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees, and further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

7. WHO WON? Winners will be announced following the conclusion of the Contest, and no later than August 8, 2008 or mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Potential 2008 Contest Winners, OurChart.com, 1617 Cosmo St., Suite 404, Hollywood, CA 90028.
