I think the guys are right. At this point we have seen this scene quite a few times. I have a feeling it's getting to feel like an audition. I don't know how you do it Ilene and all the other directors who do the casting.
I used to go to the theatre with my Mom and step-Dad (my step-Dad used to direct, and Mom would act sometimes). I used to sit facing the stage and draw and listen to my walk-man and still was bored out of my skull. I would walk all over the place and end up painting flats black or what ever they asked.
I can see why Paula cries before going into work and then plaster a smile on!
