Calling all Utube gurus…
Would one of you Utube gurus create a Tasha & Alice video with the song “Like you’ll never see me again” by Alicia Keys looped over it? I think that this song is so fitting for their relationship.
Before the new season aired, I thought to myself that the first scene with them uniting back with each other should have “Like you’ll never see me again” playing during their love scene.

Yes I would hate to see Bette going back to Tina on a whim but I know this is not the case. Bette is going back to Tina because Tina is really her true love.
Bette has never moved on after she broke up with Tina. She is still emotionally vested in her ex. Jodi is only a rebound girlfriend for Bette.
Jodi is like a footprint left on Bette's beach. It will wash away when the waves bring Bette's loveboat (Tina) to back to shore.
No denying or fighting it
Let the truth be known...Jodie is a lesson for Bette no doubt...but she is not "the one" for Bette...The attraction is with Tina and everyone including the creators know it, feel and see it on screen...The fans did not buy jobette's relationship at all even their last scene...
Jodie will find someone suited for her...that will be nice to see...Jodie has as much baggage as Bette and Tina does, we just don't know much about it...and folks it was never about the table cloth...

I don't know if anyone has made the same comment...
I thought that the nude in the last scene of ep 501 with Alice and Tasha was unnecessary and it ruined the romantic moment.
I know that usually the viewers are dying to see hot scenes, but i don't think it was either hot or romantic just taking the clothes off in a few seconds and having sex on the hallway.
I mean, come on....

i see where you're coming from..but if you think realistically, they hadn't seen each other in a while and they were so happy to see each other that they did it right then and there.. it's not too far-fetched, if ya ask me... just what people do when they're in love. I thought it was a good way to end it.

Guys haven't you realize that Tina is the only L Word character who's relatives we haven't met?? I mean we have met Bette and Kit's dad Melvin Porter, Alice's mom Lenore, Jenny's mom and stepfather ( I don't know their names), Shane's dad Gabriel McCutcheon and Shay, Dana's parents and brother and Helena's mom Peggy Peabody and even Marina's husband but we haven't seen anyone related to Tina. Tina's mom was only mentioned in season 3 when they were talking about gold stars.It would be nice to introduce a character that would develop her character more in relation to Bette. I mean Bette's dad doesn't approve of their relationship why not make Tina's mom the same. Then there would be a flashback where Tina and Bette would tell their parents about them but they disapprove but they ignored them anyway and carried on with their relationship. Then Tina and Bette would remember all those years ago and how in love they were even against their parents approval. Just a little something for the Tibette hopefuls in there, even though I'm not really a Jobette or Tibette fan. I'm leaving it to the writers who they want Bette to end up with. Although I don't think Ms. Chaiken will ever read this and get a few ideas it's nice to imagine how their 8 year relationship came to be.I'm sure season 5's have already been shot. Hopefully there would be a season 6 were we see scenes from the L Word characters past.

People! do you really hate Paris Hilton that much?? I mean on the premiere party everyone's comment was very hateful...Well with a fucked up lifestyle like that I would surely hate her myself but I'm really not affected that much, she's a party animal you would surely see her hanging out on every club in Hollywood and the L Word girls would surely meet her in one of their parties...who knows we might see some party pictures of Britney and the L Girls. Now, that's something to talk about.

I think even i could be interesting to portray not Paris Hilton herself but why not a character who tried to look like her or imitate Hilton, with a kind of personality trouble, Jodie foster could be perfect (with high heels) and this character could be a middle age and old beginning woman who could also be by the way the mother of Tina...
as for the publicity and audience Ourchart gives to Paris Hilton (or so called, by the way, do you now that Paris is a protected brand own by the city of Paris now!), i think they don't need to feed the "party animal", she get enough without them, and i'm quite dubitative about the efficiency of the glitering fashion political effect, that's all ! and in fact i don't care Paris Hilton loves lesbians, so love me !For me it will not make turn things in a revolutionary way ! The french gays (Guy Hocquenheim in particular) used to say in 68 : "my arse-hole is revolutionary" i don't think, and sorry to be rude, that miss hilton arse-hole is revolutionary ! I can't see the thinking of her acting and if it is just to say "there are beautifull women in this show", ben franchement pfffff

Anyway that Jodie Foster would portray Tina's mom is quite impossible since it would not be so believable being that they would look like sisters.But Jodie Foster coming out of the closet (although she really didn't actually say she's gay, she just mentioned her partner Cydney Bernard) is quite refreshing since we need people who would represent lesbians and Jodie Foster would be a perfect example.
And I do agree with you not feeding the "party animal". I bet she's already been to every party in LA or wherever, and I do think she parties 7 days a week.
People really has a way of using famous people for promoting themselves, I'm not sure about the city of Paris and protected brand whatever but it seems to me that people just wants to ride in Hilton's popularity and she's just taking every opportunity to be controversial. Very Hollywood.

Plus the fact, tina's mother would have a tendancy to take herself for Paris Hilton (don't forget our script!) : i wonder how a person like Paris Hilton views her old age , maybe like pElvis Presley ...
For the brand, our major bertrand delanoe make a deposit to own the "paris" brand and he 's going to proceed a lot of people among them associations, wich have paris in their name, it would be very funny if Paris Hilton would be charged to misusing the name of paris ! lol

I heard Showtime shows doesn't get past 5 seasons and I'm not sure if the show will be renewed for a 6th season, let's cross our fingers on that. I sure hope that they continue on with the show, as lesbians are rarely represented on tv and movies with such accuracy and depth, and it's actually the 1st time that I've seen a truthful depiction of lesbian life. I'm from the Philippines and we are still a conservative country and lesbianism is still a taboo topic.

So why does everybody keep bashing on Bette and Jodi? Jodi balances out Bette. Honestly, i dont think Tina is worth Bettes time. Through all the seasons Tina NEVER knows what she wants. First she doesnt want a baby and then she does, then she likes girls then she doesnt, then she likes guys and then she wants to be a lesbian again. Tina needs to make up her damn mind!!! I mean what else is Bette suppose to do, not be with anybody sit and wait for Tina to really decide who she is and what she wants. Thats rediculous! Plus i think what Bette did for Jodi at the end of season 4 was the most romantic thing in the world.
Now Paige is a big girl and knew what she was getting into. Its not Shanes fault she was being herself. I dont care what anyone says regarless of what Shane did it does not give Paige the right to burn down Shanes business!!! Im so glad Shane is single again.
As for Alice and Tasha im happy for them. I hope they stay together. They both just need to relax a little.

In a choice between Jodi and Tina, I wish Bette would choose quality time by herself. I dislike both characters - Tina and Jodi. Bette can do SOOO much better and has done better in one night stands. I am a shallow viewer, I don't expect much from storyline anymore - that battle was lost in Season 3. However, I expect Ilene and co. to bring the sexy to my TV. JoBette are not sexy and Jodi is absolutely boring. I cringe when they are together. Watching them is nearly as unpleasant as watching Carmen pee on Jenny in Season 2. I didn't last very long as a viewer after the pee episode; I don't think I will last very long this season if Jodi continues to "infect" my favorite character.

I'm a bit torn.
At the end of season 4, I didn't really like Paige because I thought she was using Shane for sex and after the new episode, I don't know who's in the right or wrong. Guess I'll just have to wait and see how the rest of the season plays out.
