Hey Jen! I'm sure that you are recognized all over the world by gay and straight women; does this ever effect your personal life in any way? After making it big in "Flashdance", who'd ever thought that you would play a Lesbian on the greatest show ever created? I have got to give you credit for being so brave for starring in such a contraversial series!!! This also goes out to all the other great actresses who star/co-star on the show.
I wish we had a place like "The Planet" in my hometown where all the local singles could meet. I absolutely love the show, but I have said that before on this website! I was simply wondering how you, IC, came to cast the roles of Bette and Tina? I mean when you writing the story did you already have JB and LH in mind? If you casted one of them first, did you have the other read together? I guess what I am getting is that the chemistry that's present between Tina and Bette seems like it was there from day 1 so, was that chemistry present at the time of their casting?

I can't say it enough ...TLW...is amazing...
I love it...I have my straight friends...watching it...they love it...although it is hilarious to hear them talk during the sex scenes....they are either super quite...or asking a million questions... anyways good job!

okay... so, here is my question: are you really giving a credit to those hundreds of asks, plaints, points of view, thanks etc. ... More especially when you write new scripts for the sequel of the show?

If so, the only thing I wanna say is: go on, do whatever you want with the show, let your envies and imagination work, don't try to satisfy "fans", 'cause it's just impossible! so many differing opinions and waits...
I'm fine with the "surprise" aspect, while watching each new episode... you do it so well ! And I can't really imagine that it's possible watchers can interfere on artist's writing processus...

so many asks here... "please Ilene, do this..." "Please Jennifer, do that..." Whatever you'd do with the sequel of the show, some would be happy, others wouldn't...

Myself:I like it like that! what's going out of the brain's script writers is fine for me, it's never annoying, and subjects are interesting and well treated. Actor's are doing great, new faces each season... going deeply into the personality of each one of the characters.

Don't change anything, it works good!

ahhhh... I might admit anyway that the Jodie/Bette relation is very delightful for me... very interesting... I like the way you treat those two characters, how they interact in their love affair while Jodie is deaf. it's giving the scenes between them so much deeper, and intense, and mouving...

I've notice that alot of the fans are being really harsh about Alice and Tasha i think it's a good match tasha is the person who calls Alice on her sh*t and pushes her grow up a little and Alice helps Tasha to open up, laugh and not be so "mean" also who wouldnt be mean after they come home to what our troops are comin home 2 thats good writin in my book... and i didnt like the comment that Papi is 2 gangsta maybe you arent someone who can relate to her but i'm sure there are many women who can and everyone should be able to relate to someone on the show i always related to some of the cast but once Tasha and Papi came i felt like i related to them even more the music they listen to there style they are more in my generation my last thought is just like u should accept people 4 who they are you should accept what each chareter brings to the show and how it helps it grow but not sayin u have to like it

I just finished watching episode 9 and I absolutely loved it. I have been waiting on it all week long. I'm loving seeing Tina jealous. LOL (Laughing Out Loud). Bette is so freaking hot. Yes, Tina made a mistake switching teams again. She had an itch and had to scratch it (I keep making that mistake, but that's a different story). Is it too late for her now? I really don't want them back together, but they are so hot together. The chemistry between the two of them are amazing. I just love how Bette looks at her or anyone for that matter. LOL. I would like to continue to see Jodi and Bette together, but Jodi can't keep it in her pants. Ilene, keep it in her pants please.

Last night's episode was simply amazing. I really enjoyed seeing Bette and Tina on screen together without the yelling. The chemsitry those two share on-screen is simply amazing. To me, it looked like Tina really finds her "home" in Bette's embrace. The mere act of such a deep embrace already shows openness and maybe even some forgiveness as I see it. I would love to see Tina and Bette start working on their way back to being together again because to me, it's one of the only real natural pairings on the show, aside from Alice and Dana, that embodies what so many of us are looking for in a relationship; honesty, compassion, and intimacy. I think Tina and Bette already showed us what true love is, but now, I would love for them to show us that true love can indeed prevail.
