There is so many thing to tell about the show, the actresses, the story, everything is just brilliant, it's for me, just the best show about women, the one women needed from the last feminist battle, and it's also more powerfull because it's not against the men's world and by this way can't be against women themselves! It is a witness to show to the world how are our lives everyday, not easy, with so many issues because different than the standard. Thanks again for making women beeing so proud to be a lesbian.

About season 4, I loved it, it is very different without Dana, (so sad) it's like totally another story with people just not the same, moving on, it's close to the real life finally. About season 5, you already made the girls playing tennis, basket ball..even poker! what about fencing? I'm sure the girls will be very pretty! okay I'm fencing coach(and french-sorry if I did some fault), I just try ! But why not?

Yes Tina and Bette fans were played again this season and IC will do the SAME next season I feel sorry for them ,we all know who the new LTR will be if IC has anything to do with it and it is Bette and Jodie.I feel for the TiBette fans just as i felt for the Dana fans.You got to give it to them they never give up and I don't think there will be any pay off for them at the END at all.My heart dose brake for them.I fear that Bette and Jodie are here to stay.And if IC was not going to put Tina and Back back together she should have put and end to it long ago and not keeping throwing that bone in there face .

I love that in every episode there is some thing I laugh at, at time it's giggling uncontrollably. Sometime, most of the time, it's something only we understand. God, I am so happy to have this show with this private understanding. It's a relief. I grew up pretty sheltered knowing there was something I didn't understand about myself. It was painful but I knew in my heart I was different and I didn't think or act or care about certain thing like the majority of people I hung out with. I started really figuring things out in my early 20's but with great trepidation until the first kiss. You know what it's not so tough to be me knowing how small the world really is. A lot people here said that they don't like seeing MM and JB as a couple on screen, and some of them said because lack of kissing or intimate scene are awful but for me personally that's not the main reason...I don't see MM and JB are good match as a couple on screen and that's because they don't have the "IT" factor which is when you see it they don't "click" in so many ways as a lover and this has nothing to do because they're close friend in real life and I know JB is a good friend with LH too, soo basicly from my point of view, I don't think real life friendship between these actresses will affect their act on screen, since they all a proffesional actresses, and you can tell which one has the "IT" factor as couple and which one does not have it, in this case MM and JB acted much better as a friend or rival on screen instead as a lover...I love all of these three actresses, they're good in their own way, but please if MM still around for next season, let her be with someone else who look more suitable and believable as her lover

I saw Kate Moennig at Warner lot in Burbank yesterday while having lunch. She is just as skinny in real life and just as hot on tv.She was with another girl ,no one from the cast.She seemed very nice and humble, and alot like her "shane" character.

I have to chime in on something I read regarding people's posts being a little insensitive.

I will just speak for myself though. I really try to keep my comments regarding things I don't like etc. specific to the character. Meaning, I try not to make comments that might also touch on the actor as well (i.e. I don't like the way X's eye's are shaped, she looks like a ...).

But, I must say, I think that most of everything else should be fair play. It's a show, we are viewers/fans of the show, and yes, we're going to express our views (our likes, dislikes, etc.). It's only natural and I'm pretty sure that actors are used to it. It comes with the territory. Now, it's their choice whether or not to take any one particular comment or comments personally or not, or for that matter, even come onto a board such as this (knowing there is a strong possibility that they may just read something none too flattering).

With that being said, I like to watch a variety of programs and I love to analyze what's going on, analyze characters, and yes, once again, give my opinion on what I think works or doesn't work (even if this means talking negatively about an actors performance). I think all of the above is fair game, imo. It's all about how you go about doing it. I too hate the lack of romantic chemistry between Jodi and Bette. I like both of the actresses though. If they had even a shred of romantice chemistry, I would actually be cool with their coupling. But alas, it simply isn't there. I also don't think it's wrong for people to state how they view an actor's technique. In this case, it seems that there are some (myself included) who are displeased (to put it mildly) with MM's kissing technique. But, that's just one problem out of many regarding the necessary chemistry that's just not there for the Jodi/Bette tandem.

I don't believe in censoring people's comments as this is a public board and this is what people do on boards like this all over the net; however, I will agree that it would be ideal if we all could respect each other just a tad more and be a little nicer to the cast. But, your opinion is your opinion and I will never say one doesn't have the right to express it.

Hello, Everyone...

Each of you are contributing great posts on the L-Word. I was cracking up over the arguement if MM can kiss or not. Well, Ladies we are not kissing her on or off the stage...lol. MM and JB are best friends in real life and we all know that you never kiss or have anything sexual/physical with your best friend. I have to say, I would not have MM with Bette but I would had MM with Jenny or Shane. However, you cannot get the same chemistry out of MM and JB as it was with Bette and Tina. I bet each one of you five dollars, Irene did not realize that she had two people with the best chemistry on her show (Bette and Tina). I bet she was shocked and excitted as we were to see two people with that chemistry the first time. Therefore, Ladies chill, no one will be able to teach MM or have MM on their lips or make love/have sex with her.

Secondly, I believe the L-Word should give two people a chance to be on the L-WOrd for stand ins or something. Another alternative have several of people on the show as waitres and etc.

Third,
Ladies, it is riducolus to have name calling and acting as we are in high school. Just take one issue at time, voice your opinion and respect others as well.
