Next on 511...betrayal and deception. Dawn and her lover Cindi call up an old friend, Ivan Aycock, and buy The Planet out from under Kit (resulting in a familiar upending of a dish-strewn Planet table). Meanwhile, Jenny is thrown off her own Lez Girls set, only to be dealt another blow when Nikki stays behind to finish the movie without her.

Tasha and Alice
What is the deal with Alice stepping out on Tasha. They're brutally honest with each other any other time. Why wouldn't Alice just talk to Tasha about how she's feeling? Seems a bit out of character to me. I just don't get Alice anymore - One minute Tasha's everything to her and she's crying her eyes out because Tasha broke up with her and the next she's thinking about cheating on her. I have whiplash from the quick turnaround.

Ok, so I am not thrilled about the finale. If Alice cheats on Tasha with this designer lady, it will be absolutely crazy. First the designer is not articulate enough and is not Alice's type. I think Alice should stick to Tasha, I really like them together. When I saw the preview of the finale I had to rewind like 5 times, because I could not believe it. I just hope the preview is a teaser and Alice will not cheat on Tasha. Next, Shane and that new girl should try it out, there comes a time in a person's life where being a player no longer fits the age, and Shane should mature by now.
On a happier note, I really like that Bette and Tina are back together :).

Im speechless and that is rarely ever the case, but I shouldn't be surprised there has never been an L word finale that hasn't burst my happy bubble in some way. But i managed to wait years for Bette and Tina, I was hoping that Tasha and Alice wouldn't have to travel that route. And of course it occurs after the camp fire scene where Tasha has stated her views on cheating. Foreshadowing i guess!

Well Ilene, you asked for our opinions and ideas for season six first and formost Alice and Tasha have to stay together. Yeah, we know they have their differences and sometimes they come to a head on their views on life but that does not mean that their love should not survive. I don't know of anyone who is exactly like their mate that is unrealistic in a world of differences and complexity. You of all people know that life is about the courage to be unique and these two although they are "different" have the greatest love of all. What point would you be making to break up a couple because of their uniqueness when the idea of the L word and Our Chart is to celebrate individuality.
KEEP ALICE AND TASHA HAPPY
All couples argue about money,so why is it being played up that Alice and Tasha are SO different and can't work through their problems.The only difference with Talice is thats all the L word wants to show is them fighting. Can we have some sweet tender moments and maybe a proclamation of love or two in season 6.

Why are you doing this to us? I'm having a hard time understanding why you are testing Talice fans like this? Please explain bc it makes no sense. I saw the extended scene for next week and saw Alice questioning her relationship with Tasha, which is not right! Why have them so happy these past eps to ruin it in 2 eps? Why not just keep them broken up since 508! Ilene I'm literally begging you, do not break this couple up. They are real, they are fresh, and they are happy. Let them be the only couple to ever survive this curse of cheating and having feelings for others. Dont tease us no more, Talice fans cant take it. You are wearing us down trying to support this couple just to have other people tear us down some more. I'm gonna fight for them until the end. I cant explain how much this breaks my heart, but you got what you wanted I guess. More drama to a couple who already traveled to hell and back. I guess there is no hope for any couple on this show. My only wish for S6 is to have Talice together and happy,I'm gonna keep wishing it comes true, I just hope I wont be dissapointed...

Tasha's laugh. Tina's cell phone with Angie's voice saying "Answer the phone". Bette and Tina wearing matching necklaces with a gold disk with the letter "A" on it, for Angelica I guess. The way Bette and Tina kept looking at each other around the camp fire and whenever they are in the same room sooooooo cute. How coy, shy and nervous Molly is with Shane. Alice and Tasha are cute together and so are Jenny and Nikki, Jenny is so in love with her. Have I missed any others?

The necklace was one, but for me in some episodes Bette use it and in others Tina use it, like some good luck thing.

Ok thanks Showtime for this amazing show, but if you can´t do the show HBO, CINEMAX or other can make it.And we want the movie, better we want the same cast in a deep script in the big screen yes we want it.
Why this series like E.R. have so many seasons and the L only six, ok i know the ideas ends and we want the same cast but they are great actresses we want they.

I agree with you on Dexter{I love it!},Weeds and Henry the Eight. TLW does have two or more season in it{or more}.Thanks for being their for many people who read,respect, and agree with you.It has become an important part pf my life. I don't think it has anything to do with race. I just think Tasha and Bette both stood up because they both have a very low tolerance for bulls**t. I mean look at those two characters how much of Denbo do you really think they were gonna take.

Well,
At least we now have the last few episodes of this season and a whole season ahead of us. I hope that Mama Chaiken brings us full circle....back to how we had the main characters in the beginning of the show...happy, care-free and of course, a lot more experienced. I want confrontation of problems and closure. I want everything that was left hanging to be talked about and resolved. If the 6th season is to be the end then let's resolve it right and bring it all back full circle.
Though It Wasn't Going To Go On Forever...
I have to believe TLW may have had two more seasons in it. I think a return to the focus being on the main characters would be a great start. There are probably too many extras (or guestbians). I'm not against guestbians because they can bring a new dimension to the show, but I think that their screen time should be managed more conservatively (and strategically).
Showtime
Yeah, I can't think of any other show on the network that I'd pay to see. I kinda liked Dexter but I fell off watching that show. Weeds, well, I tried to get into it but nothing really was able to sustain my attention. I've always loved Tracey Ulman and will probably take a look at her show. The Tudors - umm, no thanks. If I never see another dramatic piece about King Henry the VII it'll be too soon!!! Please spare me! (and I love Jonathan Rhys Meyers - he's very talented, but I still can't bring myself to watch it)
So, yeah, for me the big draw was TLW. It was fresh, different, had a great cast, and good writing. It started off with a bang, had a few down moments, but bounced back with a vengeance in season 5. Most importantly, how rare is it to find a wonderful and talented bunch of actors who have great on-screen chemistry like these actors?!?!? They are fantastic, really and truly. I think that's why it's so hard to find that next successful show because you need a great cast (that shows great on-screen chemistry), a great (and fresh) story, a great crew, and really good writing.

Well, we all know that the (L)Word has helped showtime Profit big time from its show. The only reason I subscribe to Showtime is because of the L word. The Big Wiggs that have control over the Network, better start thinking a little bit more about their profits, cause once this series is done, not only will their customer base Drop big time, but so well their profits......BIGGG TIMME MISTAKE, How many of us really subscribe to Showtime, just because??????

heleana and dusty will come back and kick some ass. kit might use the gun hopefully no one gets hurt. also i think nikki and adele might be in on something toegether, i think nikki likes shane and adele likes nikki and jenny will get hurt, and shane might mess things up with molly by sleeping with nikki. and tibete will reunite and so forth but dd and lc needs to go back to jail

Can't wait for Sundays episode, especially after the fallout round the camp fire. I hope Bette stands firm and strong and doesn't get back with Jodi, cos she is bound to come to Bette for answers. I want Bette to get back with Tina for good this time and hopefully 511/512 will make that happen.
Poor Jenny. I don't really like her, she kinda gets on my nerves, but she does really seem to have fallen hard for Nikki (so to speak) and it was very sad seeing her so upset and begging.
Great there will be a Season 6, but I don't believe they are only allowing Ilene and the other writers to finish this fantastic series off with 8 episodes. There's too much to sort out with all the characters, you can't do it in 8. Come on Showtime, let the series go out with the usual 12/13 episodes, you owe it to the fans all over the World that have taken this show to their hearts. If it wasn't for the fans this show would not be the Hit that it is. PLEASEEEEEEE...... LET US HAVE MORE THAN EIGHT!

Second that motion. Come on showtime you cant do this the l word has become my only escape from the rest of the world, i love this show with all my heart. Sniff ...i cant stand the idea that after next year there will be no more l word, gosh just the whole concept of it makes me want to jump out of a window in protest. I know its sounds extreme but this is the time for extreme measures.
