Hi, as I would have known, from reading others comments,im not the only one who thinks your writting is breath taking, an I am a writter myself, but elated when i see other women of color doing their thing, like you do, i am new to this site, and invited you to be a friend, and hopefully learn more of you. I am a woman that enjoys knowledge, the movement of ones words, passion, the undescribe emotion. I must of sat at my computer and read every poem listed on this site, and followed the trend of rushing fans to UTube, hmmm, to hear you.... Once again I enjoyed you.

Your "We alive" clip was sooooo powerful! Wish I was in the NYC area to catch the whole show.

Hello Lenelle,
I just wanted to thank you for everything you do.
I watched a YouTube clip with you, the "We Alive" piece, it's breath-taking really. Tears were falling down my cheeks after watching that.
So, thank you!

Hey Lenelle,
Thanks for accepting my friens request. I read some of your blogs today, and I found them very good. Even if I can't relate about the coming out, I can certainly relate about the other reality of being the child of an immigrant. I just love the way you write. Hope to read more from you soon. I can also relate to the food, even if my favorite is kalalou ak di ri blan, but on a bad day I also like, as a confort food, mayis maoule ak zaboka
HAHAHA
Have a nice day

I would just like to say that I love your poetry. And secondly I feel really proud that such a strong woman as yourself represents us women. Ohh and to top that, I love that you are from Haiti. I lived there for with my dad for a couple of months; I'm from Cuba.
