If you're into crazy killers, you should check out the book "The shoemaker:Anatomy of a psychotic" by Flora Rheta Schreiber. She wrote Sybil as well. It's about this guy who thinks god told him to kill everyone after a lifetime of traumatic events leading to his schizophrenia. Horrifying but fascinating. I have not read The house on mango street, but the title sounds mildly familiar. I'll have to look into it, I'm always open to reading something new. I tend to read memoirs, autobiographical shizzle. And I lovelove poetry, reading and writing it. I don't watch tv either, besides mild obsessions with a couple shows on Showtime and HBO. Like dexter, that show's about a serial killer. An awesome one. But yea I find myself getting too critical of regular tv shows, so much superficial shyte. R&R..hmm well I am a bit of a movie addict. Watch a lot of those, I like to look up random things online, like the history of Marie Antoinette, or the origin of the middle finger. I live with 4 guys and one gal, so we tend to be able to entertain each other. I can't wait till summer though, so I can go to the beach. Having the ocean here is a plus. But during the winter I find myseld lacking in activities. What part of NH do you live in?

Back in the day when I decided to be a psych major, I was all about the forensic psychology. Fascinating stuff. Why does it appeal to you? History is so intricate and so essential to know about. I think people would know a lot more about themselves if they paid more attention to their histories. I particularly like early human existence, the travel of hominids in early evolution. Something that is so intangible and mysterious really gets my blood pumping. Sybil is a wiiicked good book. I'm hugely drawn to books pertaining to mental health..and more so lack there of. I've never seen the movie though. I just read a book called "Love in an Asylum"..a romantic tale of a crazy lady falling in love with a heroin addict! What kind of books do you usually get pulled into?

That's what I wanted to be, a paleoanthropologist, since I was a wee one. Until I was 16 and at a job fair where an archaeologist told me I had to be good at everything. I suck at math and I wonder if that man realizes he killed a kid's dream. Le sigh. But I'm going to go back at it because I looovvee ze history. Direction...I'll find that down the road once I take a few classes. So you're going to be a psych major too? It's fascinating stuff, psychology. I wanted to be a counselor/psychologist/whatnot for kids. Help along the troubled youth. But losing my scholarship put a damper on that. What direction are youu going to take it?

I am going to conquer the world, that's what I'll do!! Nah actually I'm going to go back to school for anthropology. I already did two years of a psych major at a small college in Vermont and it was smothering. Sooo I'm going to finish that up so I don't feel like so much of a bum. And I'll also lay out in the sun. A lot, haha. I lovelove North Carolina, it's so beautiful down there. I went to the outer banks of NC in november to visit family and ahhhhh it was amazing. It's different, but good different.

Yeaaa Cali indeed. Long Beach, southern CA. I'm going in the fall I think, or late summer. It's going to be a mega change but I really need to make the attempt. I'm from Vermont, I've only been here in NH for just under two years. But I'm done with New England for the time being. Where will you be escaping to?

There's a plus here and there to this place, but overall yes it is a rather bland experience to live here. I hope to get moving along to bigger things in due time. Have you lived here all your life?
