a cross between a play ground and a bar..? hmm.. seems acurate.

however, i have never been to concerned with appearing "popular" on here.. call me pretentious, call me whatever (i do like coy), but i tend to go edit my online "friends" fairly often and delete the ones i dont actually talk to.

what can i say.. no one enjoys boring.

yes, that town does host pretentious "art kids" and some real artists too... But, There are miles upon miles of orange groves owned by Newhall Land and Farm that stretch from Valencia to Ventura Beach... Too bad that their future plans are to make more money selling the land to build cookie cutter houses.... :(

Interesting choices, I might be pursuaded to agree with you on that point. Wny no meat?

So upon reading your dinner party guest list may I inquire about what you would serve said group? Taking into account that it would indeed involve two seperate guest lists?

I just read your anthrax article and am pulling all of your sources now as well as some of my own that come to mind. You have certainly done your research. I would expect nothing less of you. Suffice it to say you have provided potentially hundreds of pages of reading. I don't know that I'm that ambitious but I am looking forward to the challenge. I agree with you that there certainly seems to be an absence of proof reminiscent of many recent and old high profile cases. Is there a filing deadline? What's the page limit? Does that include margins? B.

Thanks for the nice note. I think you do know the mindset of a trial attorney as a fellow creative spirit with a dramatic flair. Real trial work is one of the most creative and liberating forms of artistic expression I know of... you are the actor, director, writer, artist (lots of great visual/audio aids)...and you have a captive audience (literally). It is the marriage of creativity, organization, improvisation and strategic thinking. When your mission is true and not about defending money, there is nothing more exhilarating. I spent 8 years prosecuting adult and child rapists and child murderers as the head of the sex crimes & child abuse unit @ my office. I just moved from that division for health reasons to prosecute gang murders (what a breath of fresh air!). I have also worked as the legal director of the Innocence Project. A good prosecutor is a good defense attorney and a good defense attorney is a good prosecutor.
As stated in my profile, I am also a songwriter, musician & singer. Knowing that you are honest and to the point, I would be interested in getting your [constructive] input on my cd (it is not, however, Mozart or opera so you may be completely repelled) ... you can hear clips at cdbaby.com under the name Bronwyn [not brownwyn] / cd name: awakening. I wrote, sang and played all the instruments so everything's up for grabs. I know I'm putting my leo ego at risk but it is tempered by less egocentric influences. It's been fun to converse with you on Cage's blog...B.

Erin, I hope that I am answering you back. I have yet to figure out this site. Who is your diva? Dessay?
Have you ever heard Virginia Zeani sing Traviata? She was my teacher for a while and she's the best Violetta. Though it seems like your taste might tend towards the light, high sopranos. Ever listened to Arleen Auger? Or Victoria de los Angeles? I think you would like them both.

I didn't know Sarah Kane before i saw the play. since then, i make research on her work and man! i'm not a "petite nature" but it's heavy, it's like strong alcool, you need to drink it small amount by a time. But i think she was outspoken on her work. (It kill her, how can she possibly be more honest)

I would be presumptuous to believe that i have fascinate Isabelle Huppert, i'm more into thinking that she get tired of theatre discution and she where glad of having inside from an other world.
The play she gave for "4.48 psychosis" was very intense, she stand front of the stage, giving her lines with teardrop flow all along during the play. Quite a performance.

You look gorgeous on your bike by the way.

June 14, 2008 - 2:47pm

Woo hoo look at that fancy newly won bike!

I see you put Isabelle Huppert on movie, she is a friend to a relative of mine and i meet her in montreal when she came for a play "4.48 psychosis" by Sarah Kane. I have a meal (oysters) with her and few other people that i don't know, mostely from montreal. she was very kind with me cause, i was the only one who weren't involved in theatre and she keep asking me question about my work and how is it to have a men job. Realy nice memory.

I also wonder about why do you put Charlotte Corday on a diner party? what would you tell or ask her? (if you don't mind)

Catholism is a guilt pleasure, oh so true. I used to long to be Catholic as a child. Brought up Church of England I never got the wonderful feeling of guilt release I'm sure all Catholics get at confession. Plus there's that wonderful Latin Mass stuff. Is it too late to swap?
