I'd really like to get a tongue piercing, and I think I would have much more fun with it than with a lip one :p...although, as you said, it could really damage my teeth and gums.
If I end up getting a lip piercing, I want to have it on the left side of my lip and lower down like yours..

Yeah, I have a few piercings and I have helped a few friends either pierce themselves or I have taken them to get it done. I also like to research a bit before ever getting a piercing.
Yeah my sis has a tongue piercing and she loves it to death, she has had it for over 7 years now.
When you get either of them done you should let me know how you like it. I am sure either one of them is going to look so good on you.

Well in my opinion both piercings would look really good on you.
They are both a hell of a lot of fun.. but there are some down sides to both the tongue and the lip. When you have your tongue pierced you have two choices, a metal stud, or a plastic one. The metal one will slowly chip at your teeth and the plastic will eat the enamel off some of your teeth.
The lip on the other hand you have a chance of ripping it while eating, so you have to make sure that you get a hoop or stud that will fit your lip so you can't chew on it or bite it on accident. I myself have ripped mine a couple of times.
If you get the lip are you going to want it off to one side or in the middle? Are you going to have it close to the lip, or lower down like mine?
