Well folks, the show has come to a close and subsequently, so has the Sunday Night Roundup. But don't fret, my fellow music geeks — my iTunes runneth over with music, my social calendar is jam-packed with blog-worthy shows and I have at least 20 texts filled with musical suggestions from my SXSW reporter that still need my attention.

Tonight’s episode featured music by Vancouver-based
Castle Project, not to be confused with Los Angeles-based indie rockers
Castledoor!

Tonight’s episode featured quite a few artists, but one, in particular, caught my attention. Her name is

Picture, if you will, the “girl from Ipanema” sunbathing on the beaches of Rio. Now, imagine Peaches, Alice in Chains and maybe Fannypack crashing her lazy afternoon with caipirinhas (famous Brazilian cocktail, similar to a Mojito…yum!) and dragging her sun-soaked self to Carnival!

I think we all know how much I adore Feist; I’ve got piles of ticket stubs, hours of bootleg audio and I’m pretty sure that I’ve blogged about her incessantly. So you can imagine the overwhelming joy I felt when "Honey, Honey" played during Bette and Tina’s makeup scene!

Tonight’s episode featured a stellar (play)list of music from bands like
New Young Pony Club,
Client, and the
Jackson 5! But I’d like to give a special shout out to one band in particular,
The Start.
