I have edited part of my comment so if you've already read it, you may want to re-read it if you so desire. It still isn't exactly to my liking but I think it does convey a valid issue probably overlooked.

Thanks for writing back...Anni was elated to hear about your compliment!!!! She said "Feminist goddess is nice!!!" (pretty impressive for a two year old). She is an absolute BLAST who puts EVERYTHING into perspective.

Now back to the "res" at hand...Hmmm...I'm trying to think...res judicata...oh yeah...I'd almost forgotten that one...now what's the "matter"???!!!! Oh yeah, it's the one that's already been judged!!! But I'm spontaneously curious, did it include res gestae??!! If not you can rely on the fact that I will call your res judicata and raise you a res gestae...

Congratulations on getting through the bar!!!!! That is a monumental feat...but you should feel lucky bcs when I took the bar, I had to trudge 6 miles through 9' of snow at high noon on the hottest day of the year without a canteen bcs my horse was stolen by Billy the Kid...but you don't want to hear some old war story....

Just remember when you find out you passed the bar (and I know you will) you can drain your brain of all that legal mumbo jumbo that annoyed all your friends and relatives during your 15 minute study break when you'd randomly spout off the elements of some legal proposition about land trust. When that time arrives, very soon, you can return to planet earth, practice real law [whatever that is] and make up war stories of your own...until you become our first female African-American president...or move to another state without reciprocity.

Let me know what happens... you know deep down that you will pass it....but while you wait for confirmation, I'm more than willing to be your anxiety hotline. Breathing exercises and meditation help. Bronwyn.

Yes, its so nice to meet another legally inclined person- I'll see your res ipsa loquitur and raise you a res judicata! lol. And your daughter is beautiful :)

its okay... nothing to worry about... awwww... you have a 2 1/2 daughter?? how cute!!!

Thanks for your reply...I'm glad to have you as a friend. Anyway...Anni (my daughter) is wonderful....I have had an absolute blast being a mother...she is so happy, loving, extraverted and of course brilliant. If you have any desire whatsoever to become a mother I would highly recommend it and I don't think you have to be "young" to be a mother. In fact, I feel like I have so much more to offer Anni now that I'm a little "older". I'm much more mature, I have more life experiences to reflect upon, I'm not as uptight, I'm more financially stable...and she provides me with the best fitness program I've ever been on!!!! So don't feel like you have to "miss out on your life" to have kids. You can have a fantastic independent life, explore all your single/professional options and then have kids. I'm glad that I took that route. I will never feel the longing that some people feel about "what if I hadn't had kids so young." Parenthood has opened up a whole new dimension in my life that I never dreamed it would...it turns out that all those trite ridiculous annoying cliches are actually true!!! BUT if you don't want kids you'll still have a fabulous life...I'm Jennifer Beals' age and we have daughters the exact same age so I had a very (long) fulfilling life before I ever had a child.

If you want to respond, I would love to hear about your life in the Philippines...the cultural in general and also the gay culture...and how did you find out about the L Word? It amazes me how many people from different countries are on this website...

Talk to you soon... Bronwyn.

My participation in the dinner party would be peripheral as l listen to conversations between some of the most widely opposing and concurring, moral & immoral, influential historical figures regarding the issue of the 2008 presidential election with its leading biracial presidential candidate who seems to be effortlessly crossing many racial barriers. Imagine the content of the conversations between any grouping of those individuals. Although I would technically be the host of the dinner party it would be audacious for me to believe that I would have the standing to contribute to the substance of these conversations. Just my presence alone as a diner would be a life altering experience.

Although, rethinking my previous note, I have to say that most of the time, as you know, the courtroom is neither, which makes the grandiosity of my party even more impactful.

Strangest thing! I get Comment reply or something like that notice. When I hit it it takes me to my old ones, hence I never saw either of these. At least the mystery is solved now. It wasn't on my profile at all. It's all the way over here. I digress.

Guess I'm a bit of a sociophobe. I planned my dinner of people from history like an intimate dinner party. Mostly so I get a chance to talk with each of them. Plus I tried to make it an even number for the sake of dyadic communication. hehehe

Only when the conversation is lively and relevant...kind of like the courtroom. B.

Welcome new friend. You sure like to throw big parties, don't you? :D
