Hi Grace.......... hey, I absolutely love reading your wit and wisdom !!
Fabulous and so entertaining...... ;)
Peace
Hi Grace - I looked for a way to leave a comment on your piece about the Boston Dyke march but it looked very different from some of the other bog posts/comment forms. A change in format?
Anyway, here's my entry for this year's Gay Pride Participation: http://www.ourchart.com/blogs/marching-in-the-columbus-ohio-2008-gay-pri...
I think the straight paper is way out of line, but I'm not so sure that the Boston Dyke parade is the way to go to win our case either. The language, the obvious intent to offend -- sort of reminds me of the old SDS (Students for a Democratic Society) days in the late 60's. They were so obnoxious that they rendered themselves ineffective. I prefer respectful dialog myself. I've never found threatening someone very useful at the negotiating table. Been out for 38 years and you and I both know we're going to "win some people over" and some people will never get past their prejudices. Some people die biggots. Others change.
I understand the anger, where it's coming from, etc., but just not sure that aiming it back at society-at-large is going to get us to our goals.

Hi Grace.
I would just like to say I love your intellectually stimulating writing.
Hi Grace, luuuuuuuved your "I Got Laid Last Night", fantastic! Love the way you write, I'm adding you, okay?
Hi Grace,
In France, Mother's day is in june, but I guess it doesn't matter.
My mother is the most caring, loving and helpfull whoman I've ever met. Yes, she's a penguin for shure. And it doesn't go only for her child (my sister and I), it goes also for her grand child. I saw the other day my nephew, the last one of my sister, who's almost two years old, let his toy down to walk to her and give her a big hug and go back to his play. Just like that with no other reason than "I love you". Isn't that a sweet thing?
It made me so happy to see and feel all the love and connivence between this baby and that 72 years old whoman who is my great nice sweet mom.
I just love her.
And I keep saying it like "if I would have another life, I wouldn't like to have another moteher!!!"
You know what, when I say that, she always laught and blush...
It goes for my father too.
yes, I'm in peace with both of my parents.
I wish to every one to be in peace with their parents like that.
Wish you all the best
Anne

the white brigade are the chefs (cooks) the black brigade are those who serve .... and there called that way because of the traditional clothing jacks
Look at me topping 40 comments on one post! I know that's piddly beans to a rock star like you, but I did it without mentioning race OR sex!

I thought Friends Plus were, um, reserved for the Cindi types and I'm pretty sure you haven't done Cage, Bang AND Bunts.
Hi grace moon, did just walk around in your sites. loved it. :)
I figured out those artist's names. Dorthy Iannone and Lee Lozano. They were radical, Dorthy more so then Lee, but I think their art definitely made an impact on a sexual liberation front, even for a short period.
Ya know, if you ever want to talk...

pocster,
just attended a lecture on how "queer is irrelevant" in the philippines - totally interesting. and not irrelevant as in queer doesn't matter. irrelevant as in not useful toward the filipino LGBT movement.
compelling stuff. hope you're well. what ya up to? come see my show.
Hiya Grace, I love your writing so much! Your voice is curious and fair-minded and open and artistic and cheeky, all at the same time.
Big love, caroline
Haha. You've mixed us up. lol. That was our lovely Iris that's from conn. I only had to get to queens for the night and didn't make it there till the next day. But the sordid behind that is not sordid as I'd like it to be. :)
You on the other hand were a hit! :) Dena and I have resolved that coffee must be had (with you) before I go back to Vermont in February. And yes, that was an official invite.
Tea is even better. Coffee makes me akin to a five year old on potent drugs. It's a sight to behold. ;D
Thanks for the add-
